I love those bird cabinets!

The felt badge is super cute! (I can't wait until round 2 of the swap)

rlynn, your projects are always gorgeous, congratulations on being a master crafter!

I did not procrastinate yesterday!  Cheesy  I cut a bunch of my son's old Mario shirts and PJs into squares for a quilt. I learned the hard way that my 12 by 12 measuring block will not make 9 perfect 4 by 4 squares because it has a seam allowance running around the out side.  Roll Eyes  The inside squares are too small, sadly it took me forever to figure out why.  Tongue

I made a batch of Salty & Sweet cookies, the have milk chocolate chips, peanut butter chips , pretzels and a sprinkling of salt on top.

I also made rainbow cake in a jar. It was really good but I baked it a tad too long so it doesn't look as pretty as it should.

Thanks, abbee!  You are too kind.  Smiley

Always, you too.  I am rather partial to my little model, I have to admit.  Cheesy

Thank you, QNM.  Those cookies look delicious!  The pretzel addition sounds so good!  I love sweet and salty combos.

Seconded.  My OH would love those.  I'm not much of a baker, but I'd give them a try.

Oh, those cookies look good!

I love the googly eyes patch, always; and I love that there's a bonus.

And I love all the sewn things, rlynn, especially the bucket and the placemat.  The patch that says "eat" -- is that a special embroidery stitch?

I also love salty and sweet cookies...those look so good and not burnt! (my cookies always get burned because I forget about them... )

The rainbow cake looks interesting...is it cooked in the jar like that?

AIMR ~ Yes, the cake is cooked right in the jar, then after it cooled I scooped out a tiny bit of cake so there was room for the Cool Whip on top.

For the Salty & Sweet cookies I just made the basic cookie recipe off the back of the Nestle chip bag. I then added ! cup milk chocolate chips, 1/2 cup Peanut butter chips and 1/2 cup pretzel pieces (I ended up adding closer to a cup I think, I thought it looked like it needed more  Cheesy  ) Then sprinkle the tops of the dough with coarse salt before baking.

I got the recipe here    http://sugarcooking.blogspot.com/2010/07/pretzel-cookies-with-chocolate-peanut.html

Here are the bows and bow holder that I made for Daysie

And Aidan wanted a sock monkey, so I found an awesome tut on here from SunflowerSmiles taht I followed, and it was pretty easy!!

So easy that I found another tut online and made FOUR MORE!!!! hahaha, I think I'm done for now

And Daysies birthday is next weekend!!!!! OMG!!! My baby is ONE!!!!  So she needed a rainbow tutu......

Shes a little grumpy today and doesn't really like it, but I think I did a pretty good job

And I have to say that Craftster and all you guys are amazing!!!!  I never would have branched out to try new crafts if I never found this site!!!!!  Now I can make sock monkeys and tutus  Grin
And I just wanted an opinion.  I was going to put a bow on the tutu and I have this awesome rainbow ribbon

This pic isn't very good of it, but do you think if I use this ribbon it would be too much rainbow?? Should I use a solid colour instead? I couldn't find orange tulle, so maybe I could make an orange bow??
Thanks!!!!
