Today I realized that I wasn't getting notifications for this thread!  *GASP!*  So, I had quite a few pages to catch up on!  I missed so many amazing projects!!!

sheepblue - congrats on the new shop!  I just know its gonna be a hit, you do such amazing work!  I love the fo-taxidermy magnets, and that stamp you did is AMAZING!

I love the little tm cosmetic bag!  It look so lovely with the zipper and lining!  great job katara!

fantasticmio, the lapgham is awesome!  I love the colors!

bacon jam?  That sounds horrifying!  Though I know a few people around my family that would get a major kick out of it!

I started with the Martha Stewart baocn jam recipe:
http://www.marthastewart.com/326881/slow-cooker-bacon-jam

I've cut the brown sugar by almost half, and tried a couple of others modifications; using pepper bacon, adding a little chipotle and tamarind, adding a dash of worchestershire sauce.

You don't really can it, but it lasts in the fridge for about a month.  Tastes better at room temperature, tho'.

I made a couple of badges for a deserving craftster that I like a lot!  They are just under 3 inches and can be use as magnets, pins, or to sew on something else.  I am pretty much addicted to making them... Cheesy

I've been pretty quiet with posting because I've been sewing up a storm.  I was lucky enough to be chosen as a Master Craftster and the series just got posted.  Here are my finished pieces.  The tote bag, tea towel and dish draining mat are all for me.   Smiley

Hee, always, the badges are fun!
yofi, I never knew bacon jam was a thing. Hmm...I may have to try this.
And, I'd love to see your terrariums! You used repurposed tins? I've seen them in jars and such, but not tins. I'm curious.

Worked outside, my kiddo bought me a flat of marigolds for mother's day, and I just got them planted. And made another dent in the jungle that is the back yard...slowly but surely!

Congratulations on being chosen as a master craftster, MissingWillow! That's a lovely pile of sewing!
