You are branching out in your crafting!  Your "firsts" turned out lovely---especially the felt embroidery!

And, thank goodness I had lunch...your cupcakes look yummy...I never heard of cherry cola cupcakes!  Can you tell me about those?

I bet your partners loved those cute little unicorns!  They each have their own personalities!  I also like your owls!

I love the sock monkey, and that's a really good idea for charity.

The Buzz lightyear cupcakes are pretty awesome and the unicorns are very sweet!

I'd love to know how you did the chocolate peanut butter ones. I'm making cupcakes for graduation in a couple weeks and haven't quite narrowed it down yet.

The icing on the rainbow cupcakes looks amazing, how did you do it?

I love sock monkeys, you can also make sock elephants, sock cats and sock rabbits. They're such a fun project.

I made this the other day for my desk mate. She was seconded with us and the post became permanent, she still had to apply and go through interview though. Anyways she is now a permanent member of the team and I made her this hoop to celebrate.

Finally the picture of the hat I finished in February.

Thanks guys! The cherry cola cupcakes were from here http://www.browneyedbaker.com/2012/01/25/cherry-coke-float-cupcakes/
I couldn't taste the coke, but the carbonation must do something to the batter cuz they were so light and fluffy and it mixes so well with the whipped topping (just the whipping cream and icing sugar one, not store bought)
The peanut butter ones are soooooyummy! I got the recipe from a mag, but I found it online too! Exact same one here http://www.bhg.com/recipe/cupcakes/peanut-butter-chocolate-twist-cupcakes/
And here's the tut I used for the rainbow icing! http://www.chicaandjo.com/2008/09/18/colorful-swirled-cupcakes/ it's fun to do! (and messy  Grin)
I love the sock monkey too! I saw that swap and  since then I have found a couple of Tate's and bought some socks. Gotta get sewing to see if I can do it! Aidan saw a sock monkey at the store of $30!!! He wanted it so bad, so I better get on it for trying this out!

Oh thank you so much. They do look yummy. I can't make them for graduation though. My son doesn't like cream cheese and he knows if you sneak it in. So I've got a peanut butter cupcake that I'm going to make for graduation, but this will be made another time. Looks so good.

ok so I get real life busy for a few days and I have 5 pages to catch up on... And those 5 pages aren't just comments, it seems like they were ALL projects! Wow! Ok so I have photos of my own to post but they're still on phones/cameras so they will come later (well for the projects I remembered to take pics of!)

the nestlaces were so beautiful, totally pinning them.

The kitty looks just like mine too that1girl! Love the quilt!

So many projects trying to remember them... They were all so amazing... The baking... It was Brady's first bday party over the weekend so I did a bunch of baking... I will post a pic of my frog cake!

The hoops are great and the unicorns are so cute... I know there were others and I should have got a notepad and made notes! I'm sorry for missing the other projects!

I made my 6yr old niece a handbag for her bday (but didn't take a pic! Doh!) which was made from my first attempt crochet sampler. It was going to be a scarf, but got about a foot and a half in and realised the wool was a bit scratchy so I folded it in half, lined it and used lengths of chainbraided for the handle... I will try and get my sil to take a pic for me cos I was so happy woth it, can't believe I didn't take a snap. I also made a mugrug for my sister's bday which I will have to snap when I next visit and I made some little bean bags (4"x6") for a first bday... Was going to do them for favours at Brady's party but ran out of time... But will be making more so I'll get pics then. Whew... You think I'd be better at remembering the pics... But since I finish these things 2 seconds before gifting, I guess that's why I forget!

Looking for teal/turquoise/aqua, grey and white (or a combo) fabric for a quilt.

My son loves Peppa Pig's brother George and Raa Raa the noisy lion.
