I'm very happy with the way he turned out! He's inspired me, actually, to do something for charity - I'm calling it The Sock Monkey Project. I'm going to try to get my community involved by donating new pairs of socks which I'll convert into sock monkeys and then I'm going to donate them to orphanages and children in hospitals. I'm also going to get a website going.  Cheesy

That's a wonderful idea. Don't forget a Facebook page too! It's a lot easier to get "likers" than it is to get people to follow or interact via a website these days. Be sure to share the fan page when you get one up - I'll give it a shout out on mine for sure!

Are you doing the 4x6 swap?  Those type of swaps force me to concentrate more on art and less on my sewing and quilting (not that they can't be art, but you know what I mean! )

Haha, yes I am doing that swap and I am doing some (pseudo) sewing/quilting for mine lol. I've been wanting to explore that more.

ha ha I am doing more stamping/painting...I am helping my hubby with a wall mural (9 feetX16 feet) and we have just a bit of paint left over (LOTS!!!)...I think I can find something to fit the 4x6 size...I think it is harder to do that size than huge!)

Waahhhhhh!!! I just posted all this and it got deleted!!!  So here I go again!
I'm almost ready to post some May projects so I figure I'll post my April ones first.  I added them to my list, but now I'm gonna add the pics!
Firstly, I made a bunch of cupcakes for Ethans birthday. Buzz Lightyear ones

peanut butter chocolate ones (my faves)

rainbow ones (with rainbow cake too!)

cherry coke ones (didn't taste at all like coke but were so soft and fluffy and yummy!!)

crocodile stitch owls

perler unicorns

unicorn hoop

And I made 3 of these unicorns for different people. I love this pattern.
