I made another dragon from my own pattern. It's the second one I've made, and I've almost got the pattern ironed out to the point I can share it.

I love that colourful plaque!

I still want to make a light box for myself - using a white plastic box was inspired! I may buy one of those from the dollar shop come payday - it can replace the white fitted mattress protector I have draped over a chair in the lounge room, that sits over the un-packed away basket of clean, folded, washing. Which works well enough, but only during the day. And let's face it, how often do we finish something during daylight hours?  Cheesy

SilverMoon - the dragon is adorable

Ffrogg - love the plaques. Polymer clay right? What are you glueing them to?

I-Roses - Super cool socks. I love hand knitted socks, but I just do not have the patience. Hey I've only just struggled to complete my first Fox mitten.  Love the light box. I so need to make one.

Kookie - Kool Aid yarn rocks. Wash in mild, warm soapy water wash off excess dye.

Missing Willow - that handbuilt bakingdish rocks. It's so round for having been handbuilt.

SheepBlue - those barnacles are hilarious Love the hoops and the T-shirt tent is soooo cool.

fantasticmio - I love the owl. Would be a fab feature on a big hoop or maybe a feature on a mini art quilt.

I've finished my first fox mitten and now I need to cast on the second one.
I've been working on some crochet square for a friend. She's got a new grandson and is making a cotbed blanket. She's knitting squares and I'm crocheting them. Here's the first 7

My Creepy Cute swap partner has finially received all her parcels, so here's the rest

pretty sure that tesco used to stock tubs of kool aid, but it was only one kind and pricey. Have you tried dyeing with food colouring, but get the good stuff. The last lot I got from Tesco were rubbish. green went pale yellow and red came out pinkish orange.
Don't agitate your wool too mush or it will felt.  Roll Eyes

We don't have a Tesco locally and no doubt when I'm elsewhere and shopping it won't enter my head to look  Roll Eyes Never tried food colouring, do I need to add anything to it?

zombiecazz - I glued the pieces to painted wooden plaque.  Now I just need to put the hangers on the back of each one.

And in crafty news - I started a small embroidery hoop for some friends that are getting married in 2 weeks.  This hoop will be finished quickly. I also bought the pattern I've been eyeing from Ravelry for a felted witch's hat!  Cheesy

Here's a little hair clip I made this afternoon. I just made some ribbon roses and then glued them to a clip, so super simple, but I'm feeling rather accomplished (as I've been meaning to make it for days and never did). Once I make some more hair accessories I'll go ahead and call it a project, but until then it's a work in progress. (Sorry it's super blurry, I couldn't manage to get a very good picture.)

And because alwaysinmyroom and some others wanted to see the reason my crafting has mostly been put on hold, here is my 11 day old model sporting the clip.
