So that HUGE bag that I made and felted over Spring Break made its debute today!  And EVERYONE loved it!  Strangers commented on it!  Cheesy  My students kept wanting to touch it today while we were on our field trip! Roll Eyes  It was a good day though.  Despite the fact that I have crazy students who start singing randomly as a large group!  Grin  I have trained the grasshoppers well!

katara your play items are so cute!  I especially love the seats.  Did you use a pattern or have to come up with it from scratch?

I used this tutorial as a basis

What fun little items. I'm guessing they are for a wee little house.
Kind of. They are for a ToyVoyager Hotel I'm working on.  Wink

March and April have been really bad (not only) crafting wise. I can barely motivate myself to do anything.
I can only show a few ATCs I've done. Some random black and white ones-

My little Pony - Fluttershy and Applejack

And Chunk from one of my favourite movies "The Goonies"

And a small Amigurumi doggy!

I feel so lazy ):

I am making altered Silver Spoons for my Spoonie friends
Here is my first attempt (the red one has a Carnelian in the bowl and clear microbead glitter set in diamond glaze... the bottom one may still get some kind of gemstones mounted in the bowl

(what is a spoonie?) http://www.butyoudontlooksick.com/articles/written-by-christine/the-spoon-theory-written-by-christine-miserandino/
I have arthritis and Chronic fatigue Syndrome so this makes a lot of sense to me and I have many friends with similar issues.. I want them to always have "an extra spoon"

I love the spoons story! I also have chronic pain... Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome which has caused Fibromyalgia severe spinal conditions as well as acute inflammatory arthritis! I love the spoons story.. The people in my Ehlers Danlos Syndrome groups always refer to "needing extra spoons!" So when I saw this in the recent with photos I had to come over and tell you I love your spoons! ^__^ I have always thought that I wanted to make a spoon bracelet soooo bad LOL This idea of yours has my mind spinning in different directions Cheesy Maybe I can come up with a lovely gift idea to give to one of my fellow "Zebra's" Cheesy Thanks for sharing!

Thank you!
I still want to make some bracelets but some of my spoonie friends would occasionally have problems getting a bracelet on, I want to find some tiny sugar spoons and make the bowls into pendants someday.

Today's projects......  Sock Monkey (however, I've run out of fiber fill), polymer clay wall plaques, work on the wedding afghan or the scrap scarf.  Oh, I might write lesson plans if the crafting doesn't get in the way.  Wink

I haven't posted projects in a while. Part laziness part apathy. (Things have been rather rough. Then I got in a car wreck on Tues AM and totalled my car. Yep, things are going swimmingly around here.....*sarcasm font*)
here are the things I made for jillybeans for the IYP swap. I, apparently, can't see/read because I could have sworn I say those earrings on her wist, only to later learn she hasn't got pierced ears. Wow I feel like a putz. But Jillybeans is so f**king cool, she's gonna make them into something she CAN wear. And I am now OBSESSED with peacock feathers Smiley

And I made spikefan's (formerly of padfoot fame) daughter a skirt. It is kinda a "reverse petticoat". I used a tute that i can't find now. grr

Nice job on the skirt, and I love the peacock feather stuff! Did you stencil the Dread pirate Roberts shirt? That is so cool.
And, forgot to mention it earlier, but the spiral stitched quilt is awesome.

Made the trek to Michael's and JoAnn's today.  I have more fiberfill and I'm almost done with the sock monkey.  Just need to make his ears and his bowtie.  I found Mr. Sock Monkey a most adorable top hat at JoAnn's so I figure he needs a bowtie to go with it!  Smiley
