So my dentist couldn't fit me in this week Embarrassed so I can't get my filling fixed before my trip - guess I'll try not to open my mouth all the way {it's a front tooth}, since it needs a crown.  but it means I have a bit more time to craft and finish some clothes to bring on my trip Smiley

Today's goal
-finish blue hoody
-finish black skirt
-cut out jeans
-put "windows" in castle walls

I was away from last wed through sunday and it's taken me to now to catch up. So many cool things. I love the felt patch, its so pretty. The fox stitching is very cool. All your kiddies items are fab Mel, its a shame I don't have a little girl (cos I'm sure my husband would be most upset if I started dressing our son as a girl...) I really should make something for his bday (omg! 2 weeks away!)

You know I don't even know if we get koolaid anywhere around here. Next time I go to our local supermarket I'll check cos they do have an aisle with a lot of English items so there might be some US stuff too. Poptarts used to be all the rage when I was in high school about 15yrs ago, but I haven't looked for them for years so don't know where you can get them now or how much they might be. But I want some now. They'd be an easy snack for when I need to eat but my son is being overly demanding and won't let me out of his sight.

AIMR - so glad that crafting my cushion helped keep your mind occupied when you needed it! I'm so excited to see it!

I forgot to mention that I loved the canes!  How in the heck does one make a cane from a curtain rod?

Thanks! Hee, okay the curtain rods were more scepters/wands. Here's one. Painted it, added a glass globe (very securely!) at the top, added something at the bottom so it wasn't open-I think a small furniture caster? Basic black, other colors overlaid on it-close up it was like an oil slick.

I've spent the last couple of weeks sewing a maternity wardrobe for my sister.

I made her:
2 new skirts
1 revamped skort
1 revamped capri pants
3 revamped shirts
3 new shirts

I sort of made a few matching modules...
This green and ivory A-line skirt with a matching green T-shirt and linen tunic.

A brown yoga skirt and coordinating tunic tee and shirt made from an XXL button down shirt.

Capri pants, skort, and t-shirts modded into maternity from regular clothes plus the white shirt made from scratch.
