Oh yum--they have got to be healthier than the ones in the packages...I rarely eat them because of the sugar, but I would love to use up some of my strawberries for the kids (my great nieces and nephews!)...they eat way too much processed foods...

indigo_roses....goo d to have a short term plan...I sometimes get too overwhelmed and distracted when I look at my big list!

That's usually how I work, mostly because of swaps.  Roll Eyes I think about things that I have to get done by a certain date, like the wedding afghan I'm working on, then figure out what I need to do to make sure it's done by that time. For some reason, I tend not to procrastinate that much with crafting, although I'm a master procrastinator for everything else (like the dishes). Maybe (probably) it's because it's something I actually like doing.  Wink

I just finished "crafting" a tater tot casserole for dinner, so I'm off to eat then it's back to work on the afghan! I should really be doing at least half a repeat every day, but when it's 88 degrees out it's no fun working on a heavy afghan.

Glad all is well, alwyasinmyroom!
I love the quilt with the green. Queenninjamonkey, I don't know who Finn  is, but those are fun shirts!
Too many cool things, I'm behind again. But I had my first dealer table this weekend, at the local sci fi convention! Now I can relax and get caught up.
Here's one shadowbox, and a link to the post with the rest.

Did a lot of jewelry. which didn't do very well-but better displays will help. I'll be posting some pictures in the jewelry thread later.
Canes, walking sticks, scepters, wands, ect. About half were real canes I painted and decorated, the other half is from things like curtain rods and umbrella stems. About six of these were made earlier, the rest are from March and April. Did pretty good with them.

Bookthong type bookmarks, but I cheated on these. I bought a bunch of pretty ink pens because they had beaded accents. Took off the bead sets, tied them onto cord, added beads above them and accent beads at the other end.

I found a teddy in a tux-what could I do with such an elegant bear but make him goggles and a paw sized raygun? Also had a small magnifier in my old jewelry box-put it on a chain to make him a monocle. He may stick around as a mascot. Smiley

Made a few bracelets and earrings, and a lot of necklaces and pins, too.
There's a lot I'll do differently next time I have a chance for a show-but it was a good learning experience.

AIMR - I'm sorry to hear about the possible bad news in your family.  I can sympathize.  My family got the phone call on Friday that my parents should really go to Florida to see my grandmother on Saturday.  So - here's hoping all turns out for the best in your family as well as mine.

I have been crocheting a little bit, trying to get Christmas gifts done, and make some things for the little guy (not here yet)

I made this neckwarmer from the "city neckwarmer" pattern on ravelry

made this HUGE snake for the baby

This is a lion hat and diaper cover set for the baby's newborn birth announcement, DH is not too happy but he wouldn't let me do what I really wanted, so he will have to live with it...
