So many great projects!

I'm particularly in love with the Ice King - he's so well done.  I want to learn needle punch.  I bought the tool, but cant seem to figure it out.

Also, the skyrim hat - hubby is really into that game.

ehinders - I like the fabric for the weighted blanket and the silverware rings are really neat.

Love all of the projects! The skyrim hat is fantastic. The weighted blanket is great, as are those rings!

I also have less than tidy house (okay, lets call it like it is... its a pit) and would absolutely love a clean up wand for this mess!

On the fun crafting side of things - yesterday my daughters and I decided to color eggs. When the eggs were gone, we still had all of this fabulous egg dye. So, what to do? We ended up dying a ton of random things (paper, napkins, wood pieces, paper clay items). It was so much fun!

ehinders, what did you use to weight the blanket? That sounds like something I would like for myself.

I usually have to clean off the dining room table when someone comes for dinner. I just move projects to whatever other flat surface I can find.

indigo roses - That shrug is fantastic!

Ffrogg526 - Those bath fizzies look good. Do you have a recipe/instructions for them?
The owl hoop is very cool.

mama24boyz- My mum would love your Winnie The Pooh amis

Smeddley- Awesome blood stuff! I have heard a lot of people struggle with the patterns from Creepy Cute Crochet. I think they look great

I have been checking this thread a few times a week and marvel at the amazing things people have been making.  I'd love to hear how people make crafting a priority -- what techniques do you use to make the time and space for crafting?
Majority of my crafting stuff is in the study, so some things I do while sitting at the computer. Sewing is my de-stress so I try to sew once a week. I also try to craft as many gifts as I can & do it 3-4 weeks in advance. When I was working full-time I used to allocate half an hour after dinner to craft. But something like crochet or needlework I do in front of the tv

SilverMoon - awesome hat!

Thanks!  I'm still working out some kinks in making my bath fizzies.  The last batch I made didn't come out as hard as I would have liked them too.  I think I need more citric acid.  Anywho - the recipe I used actually came from someone I don't know via MareMare.  I posted on the Bath and Body board when the first batch I made had lots of pre-fizz issues.

Here's the link so it.  I'll warn you, the expsenive parts are the essential oils and the citric acid.  Didn't realize that when I started this project.  The baking soda, epsom/sea salts and cornstarch are no problem at all.  oh well.  They still smell yummy and make me happy!  Cheesy

I used poly pellets. I ordered them online...hmmm..can't seem to find the name of the place I ordered them from right now, but several places have them. The ratio for a weighted blanket is supposed to be your weight divided by 10, plus one pound. (e.g. Maddy is 25 lbs. so divided by 10 and plus 1 is is 3.5 lbs.)

Here's a tutorial I was inspired by if you are really interested:

I keep meaning to make bath fizzies, and then keep forgetting to get citric acid at the start of the pay month lol.

I made a dragon for a charity auction, the winner got to make a custom dragon request, and she asked for "Stop and smell the roses"

Thanks everyone for the feedback re crafting time.  My house is already a mess but there are certainly other things i can let go.  I like the idea of allotting some time each day to crafting.  After a full day at work time slips through my fingers if i am not deliberate.  Love the weighted blanket!!

I grew up with the saying "A messy house is the sign of a creative mind" Grin

Yep.  Crafting time is more important than vacuuming the carpet.

So many great projects.  Love the material you used for the weighted blanket.
