Very functional and probably really appreciated by the moms and dads...I would totally pass out if a baby puked on me...

Make them big. We used to use the terry kind of cloth nappy - which is a huge square, and even then sometimes they were too small.

that's all we used too, but I would have loved to be organised enough to have made them pretty. They are inevitably placed in not-quite-the-right spot and you still get sicked on... You get used to it always, I promise its not worth passing out over :p

Looking for teal/turquoise/aqua, grey and white (or a combo) fabric for a quilt.

For burp cloths I like to buy the packages of Gerber cloth diapers and embellish them with fabric. They are much more absorbent. The burp cloths they sell in stores are just too flimsy.

Here's a few examples on how you can do them.

Is it too late to join this? I just started being active on Craftster, and have a ton of stuff I need to get done this year (including a bunch of stuff for my wedding on 12-12-12), and think this would be the perfect kick in the butt! Haha..

You can jump in anytime. It is a good kick in the butt. Now I'm pressuring myself to get things done on my list. Of course I keep adding to the list too.  Undecided

Eclectic Dreamer - thanks for the info. I'll give it a try.

Love that fabric bowl! I've always wanted to try to make a rug for my kitchen with that technique.

Your journal is a wonderful way to express your personal journey!  I was amazed at your "before" picture...you are doing great...wow...funny how artists think alike!  I did a journal two years ago and one of your pages has a lot of the same images I had (the one with the scale and feet!)...wonderful for you to share...

mel--thanks for the burp cloth links!  I am definitely going to make those...I would never have thought to use diapers!

k-star--it was so easy to find sock yarn for you!  I love sock yarn but I use it to make other things...the colors are also some of my favorites...have fun!

I will be doing the second half of March random post prize drawing as well in a day or two...

I was just hired to do some last minute tax stuff, due April 12th, so I will be a bit busy...

You guys keep those projects coming!  I still love looking at your lists and am amazed at the progress...and what great projects...some are just too funny!
