The flowers are really lovely!

I also think the Tardis monkey and the adipose are so cute (I saw them in another thread!)...

thanks for the info on the burp cloths...I have a bunch of flannel and was wondering what kind of baby boy stuff I could add to my pile!  Very functional and probably really appreciated by the moms and dads...I would totally pass out if a baby puked on me...

Kookaloo: that's great! They actually have patterns like that at the fabric stores. I've bypassed them a few times because "Oh! I don't need a pattern for that" yet haven't made one because I fear making mistakes. lol.

BTW: where do you live? Your weather sounds similar to ours here in the Inland Northwest.

I'm in the middle of England Eclectic Dreamer  Smiley I can't remember the last time I bought sewing pattern although I did get around to looking at them last month, sadly they seem to be the same patterns that were there the last year or the year before. I live in a small town and the only shop selling fabrics & haberdashery only sells New Look patterns.

Very functional and probably really appreciated by the moms and dads...I would totally pass out if a baby puked on me...

Make them big. We used to use the terry kind of cloth nappy - which is a huge square, and even then sometimes they were too small.

that's all we used too, but I would have loved to be organised enough to have made them pretty. They are inevitably placed in not-quite-the-right spot and you still get sicked on... You get used to it always, I promise its not worth passing out over :p

Looking for teal/turquoise/aqua, grey and white (or a combo) fabric for a quilt.

My son loves Peppa Pig's brother George and Raa Raa the noisy lion.
