Love the coiled fabric bowl. The green/irish/St. Patricks day teesha moore style bag is awesome. The Big Bang swap items are cute!

Alrighty then - I've been busy today!  I have 4 projects done for a swap, one pay it forward project done, and I made shower steamers (hopefully successfully this time)!  whoo hoo!  Cheesy  I'll try to get the PIF project posted this weekend and as soon as my swap projects and received I'll get those pictures posted too!  Smiley  I'm up to 11 finished projects!  Considering my work schedule, I'm proud of myself!

How do the wipes cover work?  Are they just sleeves for the container?  I am looking for things to make my niece who is having a boy in June...the shower is April 14!  I loved them both...I like the neutral one because I think maybe her hubby would use it!

Figaro! - a sleeve for wipes case would be neat.  not sure how she did it, but when I've made them, I've just glued the fabric and batting and trim directly to the case.

I finally can post some of the things I have been working on. Sorry this is going to be a bit long...

Some fabric flowers (some of these were sent in the March birthday swap)

Inchies (again for the March birthday swap)

Inchie house card

Pendant (glass tile with paper on the back and charm on front):

I just went to a Sociology conference and decided to make some jewelry that my peers would appreciate. This one was my favorite - I used the packing tape transfer method. I really want to figure out a better transfer method where the image is directly on the wood, but this worked.
Dubois necklace

So that I am not taking up too much space the rest will be thumbnails:

Quote poster (for March Pinterest Swap)

Cards
(gel medium on tissue paper flowers)

(seed bead flower)

I made seven different pendants with theorists who made an impact in sociology. In my opinion, these three turned out the best. They were made with paper and transparencies glued to the back of glass.
Gramsci pendant

Marx pendant

Dubois pendant

I am planning on making more of these - they were very well received. I really like the feel of these, but I worry about how well they are going to hold together, so I want to try a slightly different method of making them next time.

That's how I did it. There are tons of tutorials out there that explain it. Plus you can go to etsy and look some up for tons of inspiration.
