They are beautiful, sarahj! The sweater looks so cozy. It's fun to make something for yourself. I hardly ever do that either.

Aw, I like aria's embroidery! She should be proud.
very cool sweater, and I like the colors on the fingerless gloves. But now I have the mental image of a Yeti wearing a sweater (hey, it gets cold in the Himalayas!), and sipping tea.
Fun hair clip!
And I never thought of making shrink buttons, those are exceedingly nifty. Did you punch the buttonholes before or after you shrunk the plastic?

The soap apron is cute!

And the sweater is gorgeous. Such a pretty color.

I've been spending the last several nights (and free hours during the day) crocheting a baby blanket. The pattern is from LionBrand. The original pattern is pink, purple, and green, but this was for a little boy. A lot of people have done it in blues, white, and brown, but I thought it might be cool in a monochromatic scheme.

The duffel bag is awesome, but my favorite part is the wooly mammoth key chain!

Love Aria's embroidery.

The blue baby blanket is awesome. I need to start working on some baby blankets soon

Thanks, rottenlittleboys, sheepBlue, bookstorebabe, and Gspinn.  Aria was quite proud of her work.  Its hanging up on her wall along with a cross stitch sampler I made when I was 6.  Grin
She has been asking me to let her use my sewing machine.  O_o.  heh.

Thank you meleriffic.  I like your baby blanket.  You yarnie folks amaze me.  Grin

Bookstorebabe, I used an extra large circle punch to punch the circles out and then used a regular paper 3 ring binder hole punch to punch out the holes for the buttons before I stuck them in the oven to shrink.  I will say I heated up the oven to 450 so it would make them shrink fast.  I have found that when its lower bigger pieces tend to curl up and get all messed up.  You do have to watch your pieces very closely though at the high heat.

Sarahj2001, those fingerless mitts are amazing.  I love the colors.

Thanks for all the awesome comments on my Monster High duffel and swap package Smiley

J_Kieviet: I pretty much just made up a pattern for the duffel. It's really just about making sure the pieces match up. If you follow something like these proportions you should be fine: http://bagntell.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/duffle-pattern.jpg

rlynn: Aria is adorable! I love her embroidery and all your swap creations!

sarahj2001: Great sweater!

meleriffic: Such a pretty blanket!

A swap package of mine was received! I designed graphics for two boys tees. Green one I did a digital illustration and silk screened it, the blue one I drew out by hand and used butcher's paper. There is a super cute explanation about the "Kaled" theme HERE Smiley

smashu: The Kales t-shirt is hilarious.  Great story behind it.

rlynn: Aria's embroidery is cute.

meleriffic: I like all the shades of blue in the baby blanket.

sarahj2001: I love that sweater.  I'm always impressed by people who can whip up knit projects.  I'm so slow it takes me weeks or months to make a scarf.

trinalocakary: all your snake items are great.
