In my own crafting news.I tried to quit my job yesterday, wrote out a nice note and everything.

My boss refused to accept it and walked away. I will never finish anything this year at this rate.

Umm, how does that work? In two weeks can't you just pack up your stuff and leave? You gave him notice.
However, that is awesome that he thinks you're that valuable to have around. Smiley

Funny, I don't remember being absentminded...

I need a skein (two would be great) of Knit Picks Gloss Bare sock weight to finish a shawl.

I'm sorry RLB but I have no idea of the colour or brand. It was inherited thread and partially used. It is a lot lighter when it is dry than it shows in the pic as I'd just washed it to block.

This might be a bit late but MissingWillow - I love that zombie advent calendar you made! I never thought the two themes could be meshed but you proved otherwise  Cheesy

To tell you the truth, I am not certain.  Roll Eyes

Either way, I won't be there much longer as I have started another business.

But it is kind of an ego booster

ChrisSews, I love the kitty stuffie!  But I most love and covet the WA themed embroidery.  WA is my home and I love this state.  ^_^

Kookaloo_Starr, lovely doily!  The beads are a great touch!

Ooh I forgot about the WA embroidery - Love it! I'm originally from Seattle and I miss it a lot. Though I think there should be some mountains on the west side of the state  Wink I miss mountains!

I forgot to mention that Washington embroidery!  LOVE it!  I was born there and go back every chance I get.  Yeah Washington!

And that is a very pretty doily Kookaloo_Starr.  I once tatted a doily for my mom for mother's day as a joke...I am not a doily person at all, so she got the joke.  No one else did LOL.  But I really like the one you made.

To all past swap partners....If something I made you fell apart in some way, it would be helpful to me if you PMed me and told me about it.  Sometimes, I try new things, and if they fail, it helps me to know

I'm in the bookmark swap and all the bookmarks I made have been received!  Yay!  Including my personal swap ones.  ^_^  Which means I can now share 'em with you!  (I made 'em in February, FYI) So, without further ado, BOOKMARKS!

Sorry for the millions of pictures.  I took a picture of all the wire ones together and all the watercolors together, but I made one for teachart and she frequents this board and I don't want her to see it yet.  Sooooo you get all the pairs instead.  ^_^  hehe.  I had fun making 'em all.  And I surprisingly (or not surprisingly, since I hoard crafts) had all the supplies I needed for them all, except the clear contact paper I used to cover the watercolor ones.
