I was lucky enough to receive one of Jillybeans shaving cream cards. The color on it are amazing. I'm going to have to try the technique.

Thanks!  You totally should try it!  Its so incredibly easy and they turn out so fun!

What a lovely lap quilt, meleriffic!  I love the fabric choices!

And those are great cases, kriSmith!  I especially like the black and white one.  ^_^

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

Thanks for all the kind words, my hands are just now recovering from the frantic crocheting.  Thankfully, my friends loved them (at least they said they did, that's what's important).

The pretty pretty quilts are making me think about digging out my quilting stuff... I have a bunch I've started, but I can't get the motivation to finish them.  Maybe if they looked as good as these...

And those pouches!  Love the black and white one!

fantasticmio, that blanket is gorgeous!  I can't even imagine how long that took...

fantasticmio - That blanket is fantastic!

kriSmith - both of your cases turned out great! Cute fabric on the camera case

meleriffic - nice lap quilt! So glad to hear that I am not the only one who has old WIPs and heartened to hear that sometimes they actually do get completed! Smiley

jillybeans - cute t-shirt. Love the ATC bases! I love making shaving cream marbled paper! It is super fun - but I did learn the hard way that it doesn't mod podge very well. I tried to use some that I made a couple of months ago to cover a box and the colors all smudged together Sad  I wonder if spray sealing it before gluing it would have made it work... (it is also possible that it was the type of paper that I used)

Smeddley -  Those hip scarves are fantastic! Your friends are very lucky!

SilverMoon - love the scarf and matching gloves!

All the quilts and blankets are making me drool! I'm impressed.

Okay, this is a small thing, but it was on my list! I took one of the black binders I bought a few of, when the store closed. Was going to decorate it, discovered it had a clear sleeve on each side to slip things in. So, I grabbed an ad out of the recycling, cut it to size. One size, is torn bits of beige rose patterned paper, red paper cut from a few gift card holders I'd saved because of the pattern, some leaves I'd dried and saved ages ago, a few tiny flicks of copper paint.
The other side is silver and copper paint, black electrical tape for lines, the 'OUTER SPACE' is from a coloring book. The center art-that's a photocopy of a b&w illustration I colored in with pencils and paint.
Binder will hold all my raggedy character sheets and game notes, instead of them being stuffed in the rule books.
More binders to do, for crafting notes, and for household stuff. And no way for them to be mistaken for my kiddo's school binders! And I used up some of my paper stash, yay!

Came out a little dark, and yes, I did prop it on a peanut butter jar to take a pic.

Oh my goodness, that afghan is gorgeous!!

good idea on the binders.  I have some of those...I should add some craftiness to them.  It would make them far more interesting.  Cheesy
