 Okay, this thread moves fast so here are my comments for the last few pages...
cinnamon teal -> sweet idea for your hubby. I used to leave little notes for mine on the mirror but then he started leaving "can you "X" for me today while your out?" notes for me so that ended quick. I don't think he got the point. LOL!
 noooooo -> Your pictures were gone! I really wanted to see those ATC's! And I am in the bookmark swap so I am looking for inspiration.
 redstar13 -> I didn't know you sewed too! I absolutely LOVED the St. Patricks day skirt. Too adorable to believe. I want to see action shots!
 Kookaloo_starr -> You make me want a serger. BAD! LOVED the sleeves on that shirt and I laughed at the facemask because I make those out of fleece for my hub-a-tron.
 Sera unravled -> I admire anyone who can quilt. The idea of even starting one makes me light headed. Great job and cute cat!
 RLB -> Amazing quilt and the sentament behind it is great. He will have that forever! And cute jacket, loved the colors.
 Abbee Road -> That card made me giggle. handmade is always more meaningful!
 katara -> that was an awesome bracelet and to get all of that out od a stash! Wowza! Very pretty.

Well this is my attempt for something new. My mother is Korean and I have been bugging her for ages to teach me how to make some of the traditional dishes that I grew up on. I finally managed to learn how to make two dishes. I guess they may qualify as red since there is a lot of red chili pepper in them.

dreadfullydivine, YUM!  My mum is Korean as well.  She refuses to teach me.  Something about it being too hard for me to learn.  I swear she thinks I'm useless.  Heh.  Maybe one of these days she'll teach me.  I know I could try to learn from a book but it just isn't the same.

Did you ferment the kimchi? I have a fermenting jar (The Perfect Pickler) that's got recipes for kimchi, I want to try it but the kids of course won't touch it so I'd have to eat it ALL myself. That's a lot of kimchi...

I finally get to post what I have done this last month. A small surgery has had me pretty busy for about a week before and all this past week in recovery. All better now and feeling strange back at my computer with pictures to post.

I finished a doggie sweater with stash I had. Although my Chewbacca didn't like it too much as first (growling the whole time) he looks happy anyways. That's why we love him. Carons yellow and Thick Lions brand in black was used, just made up a pattern using his measurements in simple rectangles.


Have a couple of other things done but no pictures. Starting the year off slowly, but I know I will put this mutha in 5th gear soon!

I've been in a bit of a rut lately, barely crafting or cooking, and sitting in front of the box at night with DP watching season after season of tv shows we don't get over here. But the one thing I've able to keep up with is these little TM patches, because I can do them on the couch. I never knew embroidery was so relaxing! I don't have the patience or bandwidth to upload all these to Craftster, so I'm linking the album off my FB fanpage. But it's set to public, so everyone should be able to see it.
