Well this is my attempt for something new. My mother is Korean and I have been bugging her for ages to teach me how to make some of the traditional dishes that I grew up on. I finally managed to learn how to make two dishes. I guess they may qualify as red since there is a lot of red chili pepper in them.  Cheesy

Learn how to make KimChi

and Learn how to make Shredded Radish KimChi

rottenlittleboys- Really neat and thoughtful idea with the Scout quilt. I am sure that he will cherish that in years to come.

rockon- Everyone needs a cape. I hope to see pictures of them modeled.

Abbeeroad- Really sweet Valentine's Day card.

katara-Lovely bracelet

ZombieLili-Fantastic pictures and the Totoro card is simply amazing.

Kookaloo_Starr-Love the tunic it looks really comfortable.

Will do personal swaps.. ^_^

dreadfullydivine, YUM!  My mum is Korean as well.  She refuses to teach me.  Something about it being too hard for me to learn.  I swear she thinks I'm useless.  Heh.  Maybe one of these days she'll teach me.  I know I could try to learn from a book but it just isn't the same.

Did you ferment the kimchi? I have a fermenting jar (The Perfect Pickler) that's got recipes for kimchi, I want to try it but the kids of course won't touch it so I'd have to eat it ALL myself. That's a lot of kimchi...

I finally get to post what I have done this last month. A small surgery has had me pretty busy for about a week before and all this past week in recovery. All better now and feeling strange back at my computer with pictures to post.

I finished a doggie sweater with stash I had. Although my Chewbacca didn't like it too much as first (growling the whole time) he looks happy anyways. That's why we love him. Carons yellow and Thick Lions brand in black was used, just made up a pattern using his measurements in simple rectangles.

Have a couple of other things done but no pictures. Starting the year off slowly, but I know I will put this mutha in 5th gear soon!  Grin

I've been in a bit of a rut lately, barely crafting or cooking, and sitting in front of the box at night with DP watching season after season of tv shows we don't get over here. But the one thing I've able to keep up with is these little TM patches, because I can do them on the couch. I never knew embroidery was so relaxing! I don't have the patience or bandwidth to upload all these to Craftster, so I'm linking the album off my FB fanpage. But it's set to public, so everyone should be able to see it.

TM patches for practice and trading

These aren't anything I want to keep for my own TM projects (well, maybe the Subliminal one, but I'd rather a similar patch from someone else) just techniques I wanted to try out.

Oh my goodness - that little sweater is almost as cute as the adorable pup wearing it! dreadfullydivine, that kimchi looks amazing! I bet it tastes just as good.

So many amazing projects! I really can not keep up with this thread...

That kimchi looks fantastic, cute puppies in vests, fantastic TM patches, fun jersey shirt, wonderful pictures and paintings! *whew* You all make me exhausted with all of your projects!

I finished a couple of swap items, but I can't post quite yet!
