And that reminds me, I need to post the purse I made for my BIL's girlfriend (This proves I am working! Slowly but surely). She started her own nail salon last year and is doing great at it. I tried to make her something personal, functional, and cute to go along with that wonderful accomplishment. My Husband calls this the Banana Phone purse. Everytime I set it down he would grab it and put it to his ear and say, "Hello? hello?".  Undecided She is getting it regardless.

I was jillybean's first swap partner on Craftster (Ohhhh....that sounds dirty, doesn't it??!! Grin) and even from her very first swap, she has been amazing!

Even though I don't comment, I have seen what she has created since that first swap, and her crafting talent truly is extraordinary!

Jillybean is an asset to Craftster!

gozer: The purse looks great! I'm jealous of your sewing skills.
jillybeans: Your functional stuffies are amazing! I love the wookie cookie so much!
smashu: I'm a sucker for buntings and yours looks great! I love the unexpected combo of fabrics.
rottenlittleboys: Your dreamcatchers are beautiful but I am really in love with your ood bookmark!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! My hubster and I don't like to get all commercial on the holidays, so we're going to cook a fancy dinner at home and I made him a jar of hearts. I just cut out a bunch of hearts, wrote something I love about my husband on each one and mixed them up in a mason jar. Really simple and cheap, but I'm not usually very verbal about my affection, so I think he'll like it. Smiley

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! Those functional stuffies are AMAZING!

I think I am in love with the squirrel and the ewok!!!

gozer, the purse is lovely.  I am sure your BIL's girlfriend will love it!

The jar of hearts is sweet.  I should do something like that one of these days for Phillip.  I am not a very outwardly affectionate person so I am sure he would appreciate it in writing.  Grin

Smashu, those buntings are lovely! I love buntings... They're just so cheery.  Smiley
RLB, those dreamcatchers are beautiful. That's a skill I'd love to pick up.
jillybeans, WHAAAAT! All of those stuffies are genius and totally awesome. Some of the best things ever, I think. The magnet inside the squirrel is hilarious and perfect. So cool.
Gozer, you did a great job on that purse! Sewing skillz!

I have been makin' some stuff! A few ATCs and a bookmark book.

I needed a good place to keep all my bookmarks together, so I made a book Smiley the inside is just tons of pockets.

This Hogwarts one went to Indigo_roses Smiley The other two were swapped locally with an artist I go to church with.

I found some size details for a magic wrap skirt on a website selling them :
The measured length for the PLUS SIZE Magic Wrap skirt (size 16 +) is:

70 inches in width and approximately 34-36 inches in length.

 Cheesy
i'm thinking this needs to be my next "for me" sewing project  Grin
