I made a sun dress a couple of days ago. It has a light purple lining. I like it, but it is waay too big (and I put elastic in the waistline), even for my preggo body,  so I will be donating this one.

The cupcakes taste amazing, they are maybe a little bit denser than regular cupcakes, but that seems to be the only difference.

You only use 12oz of 7 Up and then bake for the regular time.

I don't think you have to use diet, I'm just trying to eat a little better.  Smiley

The weight of the cake mix is 18.25oz

I am making these today with Voltage (Blue) Mnt Dew and Funfetti cake mix then another batch with Diet cherry soda and Funfetti (I added blue food coloring to the voltage but should of added a lot more)
Will post mics soon!!

My first swap package since 2009 has been received by the lovely rlynn! Cheesy I made rainbow fabric bunting for the first time ever and made mini bunting with the scraps. It was fun!

Thank you everyone for the lovely compliments on my C.A. Cupid skirt!

cursive_queen: *blush* Thanks!! I would love to meet up at SDCC (if tickets do go on sale.. what the heck is with that arg)!

rlynn: I am currently downloading the audiobooks for the Abhorsen triology! I can't wait, it's been ages since I listened to anything (I need to multi-task my life which I'm sure you can understand so for me reading a physical book it out of the question lol). Your daughter sounds like a lovely little lady! I can't wait to have kids Smiley

QueenNinjaMonkey: Those cupcakes look fabulous! I am tempted to try using soda with my non-death cupcake mix and see what happens lol

 Really Cute Buntings, Smashu!   Smiley
I've been working on my gardening project... Rock Removal! Coming along well, and I planted tomatoes yesterday, plus a Desert Willow Tree (a baby one) it looks like a stick right now~!  Huh
And five six-packs of Pansies!  The veggie bed with the rock issue is almost cleared out... One more day! Then for planting!  Grin

Smashu, I'm so excited that you downloaded the Abhorsen trilogy!  Cheesy

Also, you did such an excellent job on the bunting.  The little tiny bunting was such a sweet surprise.  Its currently hanging up in Aria's room.  Cheesy  The little bows are fun too!

I made Brady a summer sleeping bag for all these hot nights we've been having. I was quite pleased with myself as it was my first time doing a lining and invisible seams. Smiley

Plus I've completed a hoop for a private swap (does that count as a swap?) so I will post pictures once received Smiley

I have pictures!  Smiley

A cross-stitch bookmark of two Oods from the Dr. Who swap.

The backing to the book mark that looks like the space the TARDIS is flying through in the opening.

And something from my husband. His nieces have been having bad dreams, so he made up dream catchers for both of them. The pink and blue beads are called tear beads, there are seven beads for the number of completion and there are four hollow silver beads for the four directions.

The hoops were harvested from wild grape vines in our back yard.

RLB I love the dreamcatchers your husband made! Yay for crafty menfolk  Grin

My friend Sandra asked me to make 4 grocery bags for her and this morning I've been cleaning the kitchen in preparation for sewing. I would love a craft room *sigh*

I've been looking at "magic wrap skirts" on youtube too and want one. Obviously I don't want to buy one & I'm wondering if I can manage to combine my orange tie-dyed sheet with a multi-coloured thrifted skirt to make myself one.

The bunting is beautiful!

RLB--I am a huge Dr. Who fan!  The cross stitch is fabulous!

Also, your hubby is quite talented...hopefully the dreamcatchers will help with the nightmares!

KLKing--I am jealous that you can even be gardening!!  The ground is rock solid and winter has just begun... Sad

I purchased a magic wrap skirt in New Orleans just so I could see how it was made! Cheesy

It came with a DVD to show how it could be worn...and it is awesome...I hope you make one and post it...I never got around to making one, but it is on my list for someday! Cheesy
