cinnamon teal- I love those cable socks.  I've been wanting to try cable knitting but since the last pair (and only sock) I've tried didn't turn out so well I'm not sure my knitting skills are up for that yet.

waggonswest - Fun purses and mug rugs.  I like the crazy quilt stitching on the grey one.

And here's a pair of socks that I made for myself. Just because. Smiley

There are more pictures and info on the socks on my blog for anyone interested. (And btw, my feet are actually pretty much the same size. The pic just makes them look funny. It is really hard to take pictures of your own feet!)

Oh those are lovely socks! Cables are on my "learn-to" list and have been for the last 2 years  Embarrassed

Kookie, LOVE the socks! I'm glad you finished them! Knitting a pair of socks is on my MUST DO List. Maybe I'll make an Itty Bitty pair with my size 0 Dpns? My daughter can put them on her SOCK MONKEY! LOL!!

Well, it took a Craftster challenge in my favorite obsession to get me going. I finally completed a project this year, and even posted it to the challenge.
It's nothing really fancy, just a fun concept (click the image to see more):

waggonswest, those mug rugs are lovely. I especially like the second one with all of the pretty stitching and bright pop of color on gray.

A paper mache crown? That is interesting.

KLKing congratulations on finishing your beading! Very bright and colorful.

Tanath what a cool concept for a necklace.

Two more pink things for Feb. I'm not usually this good at fitting a theme  Cheesy

Before Skyla was born I crocheted a lovely bonnet for her but it is HUGE on her tiny little head. She came a month early and her Mum is petite anyway so I needed to make her a new one that she can wear now.

I have no idea where the pattern originates as it was on a handwritten sheet of paper in with some booklets I inherited. There was no size info or yarn/needle info so I made the first one up in DK on 3.25mm needles and it is tiny. The second one I double stranded on 4mm needles & whilst it is still very small I think it is more the size I need it to be, not that I'll know until Skyla wears it  Grin

I added lace trim to #1 and a crochet edge to #2

I have no idea how big babies/kids heads are, my "babies" are 24 & 18 years old and were big robust boys at birth so this really is guesswork for me  Undecided

Some awesome projects since I last checked in!  My faves...

smashu - love your hats, especially the blue and green bandy looking one.

suereal - dog patch is soooo cool!  Love the mixed media!

cinnamonteal - I'm so in love with your bird paintings!  The chickadee is my absolute fave!

luckdragon - knitted head band is awesome.

waggonswest - I love everything about that grey mug rug -- the stitching, the patchwork, the orange against the gray...amazing.

waggonswest, do you have a pattern of tutorial for the paper mache crown? Little Bean's birthday is coming up and I'd love to make one.

waggonswest, nice mug rugs!

Whether this project is eligible can be debated but I've been working on my business website for a REALLY LONG TIME!  I had to tweak the layout, settle on a colour scheme, and write the content.  Plus I created the logo based on the tree image that an Etsy member drew up for me.

It's a pretty basic website but my skills are only so developed and I'm still really happy with it given my personality is not an overly fancy one anyway.  I was aiming for calming and comfortable.  When I look at the site with my boyfriend's laptop, the colours seem overly grey because of his inferior colour card but I like the look on my computer.

I still have some photos to add (that I will take myself!) of the treatment room but I have to wait until we finish renovating it.
