hgddm: The donut recipe is here http://wheat-free-meat-free.blogspot.com/2011/09/gluten-free-chocolate-donuts-with.html
In case anyone is corn sensitive, they can replace the xantham gum with guar gum 1:1 ratio. I also modified this recipe to be for mini donuts, each donut takes 1 tsp batter and cook for 7 minutes a tray.

zombiecazz: I'm going to sound like such a newb... but what is OH? Corn and dairy are the bane of my existence lol But I've been dealing with the allergies for the past ten years so I'm used to it! It helps that my lovely boy is an amazing gourmet cooking genius also Wink

Also, I'm totally proud of your freezer paper stencil! That is brilliant for your first time Cheesy I use butcher's paper on everything that I don't silk screen and I know how long that would have taken. Great job!

Nutella cheesecake brownies? Those would kill me but the boy would explode with glee.. lol Good luck!

Zombiecazz your shirt looks amazing, doubly so because it was your first attempt!!

I'm going to try out the knitting loom my boyfriend's Mom got me for X-mas today. It makes hats, which I really don't wear but I thought I'd try it out and maybe make a bunch of hats to donate.

Ok, for those of you who have used a knitting loom I need help!  Tongue  My first hat isn't looking right, is there a specific size/weight yarn I should be using? This is what mine looks like so far

It looks to spaced out, I don't want to keep going if it's not going to turn out right.

KriSmith ~ I went to a DU dinner a couple weeks ago and it was a really fun event. My boyfriend's father just became one of the chapter leaders (not sure if that's the right term lol ) and we are hoping to go to more in the future.

You either need to use 2 strands, or use a bulky yarn.

QueenNinjaMonkey - My husband is in charge of our chapter. I'm hoping it will be his last year. He's been in charge for three years. Someone else needs to step up. I do like making stuff for the banquet though. We always have one of a kind stuff.
