They're cute Koreena. I have a poor crochet doll who has been waiting for arms for over a year  Undecided I really ought to find her and finish her  Embarrassed

I know your partner will just love the Dr.Who items, MeganCrafts!  The Darling Daisy dolls are great meleriffic and how great that you're making toys for charity, Koreena!  I just posted a cooking tutorial (#33 on my list) Roasted Vegetables  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=403251.0

Seeing all the cute dolls and toys reminds me that my old doll still needs a new winter dress (she is old, so I have to make a matching hat to cover where she lost chunks of hair... )...

I love the simplicity of the Darling Daisy Dolls...they are so cute..

I also think the lion mane is terrific...fun fur used for fun! Cheesy

oh yum, MissingWillow...just in time for dinner!!

Kookaloo: Yes, Pookah is like Ludo but a little different--actually I think the only diff. is the Ludo rules I found online said you need a 1 to get on the board. Our game: you need a 1 or a 6, and if you roll a 6 you get another roll. The thing is, I did a few online searches last year, and never did find a game under this name. I've no idea how my family came up with the name but our current carved wooden game board is more than 36 yrs old, and that replaced a former board that broke. Pookah is "ghost/spirit" in Irish lore, and we're part Irish, so maybe that's the name connection? All I know is that my family has been playing since before any of us currently living were born, so that's all I've got.

The "goal" is to get your pieces home. How my family plays is "Revenge" & "Get them before they get you". We gang up on other players, part-time peace agreements (dropped the moment they are no longer advantageous), and we get loud and crazy. A single game can easily last 4 hours (in my family).

I made these for texscrapper in the Ongoing Wish Swap Rd78. She has not received yet, but to the best of my knowledge she doesn't follow this board.
