I finally got around to cutting my soap disaster from a couple weeks ago...beeswax, raspberry, and banana (which still looks weird...look at the 2 colors...are they all going to cure into one? )

It should become one colour with time and exposure to air/drying.

Yay! I can finally post some more pictures! Although two of these were started last year, I finally finished and gave holiday gifts to my good friends...

The young one in the family got a family of gnomes:


My friend got a necklace. The colors in this photo are mediocre - the metal is more of an antiqued gold / brass, the pearls are whitish, off-white, light grey, medium grey, dark grey, and red.


My friends partner got a zombie food pyramid wall hanging. Again, the picture could be better. The words are painted in an iridescent green and the word "zombie" has a red shadow (which you can't see at all in this photo). The body parts are paper (printed out [since I discovered that I couldn't draw intestines], cut out, and then colored with pens and watercolor pencils - again, the color didn't show up in this photo) and mod podged onto the painted fabric pyramid.

Those gnomes are freaking adorable.  The necklace is gorgeous.  And the zombie wall hanging is soooooo cool!

I love pearl jewelery.  The colors in that necklace are great and I love how you mixed in the chains.

Sorry I haven't been posting too much.  I keep getting depressed and overwhelmed when I see all the awesomeness that everyone is creating.  I haven't gotten a darn thing of my list completed yet. 

On the plus side, I have completely re-organized my papercraft section of my craft room.  Now, to organize the rest.
