blankgirl - Cute dog and cat! And bowties! First Lime's dog humiliation, now this. I'm loving the petcrafts Smiley
Kwilty - Great sewing projects! The embroidery on the monster's belly looks really cool. Was that done by hand?

I've got a quickie project to share, just a watercolor with robots. Somebody wanted an art print of a robot illustration I did a while ago, but I couldn't get it to scan right, so I just painted another.

Dunno if I want to count it towards the 50 because it was a quickie.

I must have missed the kitty bowtie!  What fabulous fabric...I am also loving the pet projects!

nooo--that is such a cute illustration!  Of course it counts!

k-star--you MUST make the other sock to count Wink...how is that for incentive?  I love it...I gave up on DPN and circular needle socks...I am going to try loomed socks next...

The sock looks great, Kookaloo!! You did an awesome job. I wish I had a picture of the first sock I ever knit. It didn't even remotely resemble something that could be worn on a foot!

I finished a pair of socks last night but they are for a newborn so teeny-tiny. I'll snap a photo later.

noooo - your drawings are so wonderful. The designs always make me happy and you sure have a way with color! Duh - of course that counts as a project!!

Did you use a pattern for the rocketship?  I know my great nephew would love it!

I have a quilt I am making for him that has space ships...this would be wonderful...he is almost 3 now!

@alwaysinmyroom ... Thanks for the Big pic!   Smiley

I kinda sorta used a pattern.   My sister(who has no crafting skills...bless her heart) always seems to find the cutest things but always the hardest and most difficult patterns to create.  I read everything over, studied the pattern and then promptly went my own way with it and it turned out way better than the original pattern/pic.

It is 3 sided...has 3 "fins"...has a pocket on the front to hold small friends, alien minions, and "hugs".    I used felt for the flames.  The body is 16 1/2" from tip to bottom(w/o flames) and is in a chubby bullet shape.   The fins I made "elbow's tapering into a tip" and they are @7"from bend to tip but 12" from attach point to tip.

On second thought...I have never done a tutorial but I still have one more of these to make.   If you are willing to wait a couple of days and will not mind this being my first tutorial...I can post it all up and give the link to it here.

LOVE the rocket!

and the watercolour robots do count, size doesn't matter! They are cute and very well done. I don't have an artistic bone in my body so always appreciate those who do  Cheesy

IF I can find the rest of my pink sparkly yarn I will start sock 2 tonight. If not I will start another pair of them in another yarn  Grin Grin Grin

I have this thread open in it's own dedicated window, and take a look whenever I can, and still find it hard to keep up.
BlankGirl - that's a cute bow tie, looks very nice with your black and white pup.
kwiltykate - Awesome stuff. I love the little pink monster, the picture made me smile as soon as I saw it. And you sock monkey has such a cute face Smiley
tryskal - eep, 12 hour nights?
Kookaloo_Starr -  very nice sock you got there, you should definitely make it a partner.
noooitaremybirthday - I think you should count the robots, that painting makes me feel happy inside (and a bit teary, but that's probably just hormones) Smiley
mommasfrogging - a rocketship plushie is an awesome idea, I would have loved to have one as a kid, and the fabrics you used are so fun, it's great.

I got about one or two rows of a project done, at this rate it'll be 50 projects in a decade for me  Tongue
