hey people!  January is a good month to get organized, plan, find your stash, get supplies, etc. So don't beat yourself up for not making anything!  There is still plenty of time...and remember that 50 is just a number...so is 5, 10, 20, etc.

This is suppose to be fun, not a contest or a stress producer!

Lime--it was fun to make and so easy...I made it last year for someone and the photos of everyone trying it on are awesome!  Who would ever think grown ups could be so silly over something so crazy!

If you every decide to make one, I can pop you a short easy tutorial!

QueenNinjaMonkey, mellybelly81, and sheepBlue thanks for the comments on the mouse in his tin.  I sewed him up on my sewing machine which was not very easy.  Next time I think I will just hand sew the mouse.  

katara, thanks!  I enjoy making cuffs...such a good use of the odd ends of fabric that I always have about the house.  

alwaysinmyroom, congrats on the recognition you recently received.  you most certainly deserve it; you are always making sure your craftalong participants feel good about the crafts they produce.  you are amazing!

sheepBlue, I love the yarn bombing.  Its fabulous.  I would be so excited to see that on my campus.  
LaughingLark, I like the hat.  It looks cozy and the colors are fabulous.

trinalocakery, that heart and crown are marvelous.  Great work.  I work with wire occasionally but its not my favorite medium because I don't feel I've got quite the control over it as I would wish.  

That yarn beard is hilarious.  Aria would get a kick out of one.  She would probably insist on wearing it to school.  She wore a full chicken costume to the first day back to school.  She likes to think of herself as a little comedian.  

I am hoping to start working on some birthday gifts and Aria's birthday rainbow romper soon.  School is in full gear now so I'm glad I got a head start on my 50 list.  Who knows how much crafting I will get done in the next 10 weeks.

Do you make most of Aria's clothes?  She always look so funky and original...I often wish I had a little girl to craft for regularly...plus, what girl would not love a crown, a tutu and a chicken costume! ooh dear...Aria is getting older and prettier each year...I bet she is looking forward to her gifts!

I actually don't make most of her clothes but I've been having fun with it lately.  I do let her pick her outfits when she is interested.  Most days she doesn't seem to care but she has been lately.  Its usually quite funky when she does.    She is totally excited about her birthday.  The fact that it is rainbow themed is icing on the cake!

Yes!  I haven't started yet either!  No worries...I seem to do things in spurts with the current spurt just not being a crafty one, lol.  I'm sure we'll all make it through.  In the meantime I'm totally inspired and motivated by all the activity here!
