Here is part of one of my projects - one of the birthday cards for this year. My nephew turned one last week and his party was on the weekend. I am quite happy with it considering its the first proper card I've made.

I am working on a cross stitch WIP that I forgot I had, wasn't until I pulled out my other (ok ONE of my other) cross stich WIP that I saw it and realised that there was a chance I could actually finish this one in January, so I left the other one where it was!  Tongue

My list of 50 projects keeps growing because I made a scarf for the White Elephant Gift Exchange at school and now I'm getting more and more orders for additional and varying scarves!  So, I'm working on scarf number 2.  I'll get pictures posted this weekend!

indigo_roses--yay!!!!!!!  I am so glad that you are learning to knit at LYS!  To be surrounded by all their yarn will motivate you a lot Wink.  Can't wait to see what you make!

rlynn--wow--you got a bunch of cutie projects out!  Love the cuffs and also the bag is beautiful!

KLKing--I am excited to learn a bit more about using a photo editor to enhance my pictures...it does make things look nice

the owl ornament is adorable!!!  I would keep it all year around.

a first birthday card is so personal--and a nice way to use up paper!

Great job everyone!  I have made a list of projects from many of the participants...uh, my list is now at about 80, so this weekend, I will stop and start making stuff! Cheesy

Trina, how cute are you in that crown??  You should consider making that your new avatar photo.  Sheep - I love that you are yarn bombing your campus!

Yarn bombing is a MUST for me this year!  I'm trying to come up with a scene that I could create.  Maybe a picnic in the park.  With the blanket, basket, food, ants fleeing with crumbs...  Not everything would be crocheted but I think it would be neat to stumble across an art display like that.  Or a tea party set up...  I'm not entirely sure but I can't keep not doing yarn bombing...

I also loved the little mouse in the matchbox...wouldn't that be a fun thing to leave somewhere for someone to find and smile!

omg--trina--how lovely you look in your BEAUTIFUL crown!!  I love the color and the shape...the heart is also very nicely done...

sheepblue--you are my yarn bomb heroine!  Do people know it's you?

Trina--that crown is stunning, and I love the heart. Beautiful work!

SB, great yarn bomb project.  Smiley

I made a beanie hat with ear flaps that actually fits me. I think I might be a loose crocheter, because I had to drop my hook size to get the right gauge. Most of my projects turn out too big. It's not perfect, but I can wear it public and I'm proud of it. This is going to be one of my "go to" patterns for gifts for next Christmas.

I bought the pattern on etsy for 3.99

Trying to decide whether I want to make another of these today, or get started on my scoodie. Hmmm...
Youtube "Scoodie" tutorial, first of 2 videos.
