Saw the request for head measurements, just so happens I requested them from my sister in law over the holidays for some holiday hats, hope this helps those who need it:

8 month old : 20"
3 year old : 22"
5.5 year old: 24"

But each kid is different, my 7 month old is only 18", and my 5 & 7 year olds are the same at 21"

I made something for a swap today. I like it  I'm counting swaps as one project so I haven't actually completed the entire project yet but made a good start.

I say animal print is definitely unisex, as long as it's not predominantly blues or pinks in the coloring to sway it one way or the other.  Your's is primary oranges, yellows, greens, etc, so I think it's unisex for that reason.

Still working away on stock for the faire.  I've made quite a few lovely pieces this time around, and I want to add them to my 50 list as 90% of my stock for this year's faire will be crafted during this year and they have been the only craft I've been working on since the last week of last year and into this year, so I'll be snapping a group shot and a few of my best ones to show later on.

Are you sure those are correct? The standard size for a man is 22" and a woman 20". Something tells me that a 3 year old doesn't have a man's size head and an 8 month old a woman's size head. I could be wrong, but the numbers just don't seem to add up.

Hmmmm....yeah, that is odd.  I think my head circumfrence I last took was about 23", and I'm 30!  I've never measured a child's head, so I'm the last one to know what's right or not LOL!

Aria has a very "average sized" head for a 3 year, almost 4 year old.  Seriously, she measures at 50th percentile every time we go to the doc for head circumference.  Her head measures at 20 inches.  Children's heads tend to be much larger proportion wise to their bodies than adults.  They grow into those heads of theirs...its also why they look so darn cute.  Think about all those sweet drawings people make of big headed, big eyed animals.

Dreadlock - I love the look on your kid's face! I'm of the opinion that about half of all photos taken should be with a funny face. The sweater is adorable, too!

Noooitaremybirthday ...I stumbled upon your crafting blog the other day and pinned several items (Dino and Monster Shrink Pendants)  you made.  I was thinking to myself as I pinned them and perused the blog, "Damn, this looks a lot like Nooo's stuff."  Now I KNOW it was your blog because this garland was the most recent blog post.  Hahaha... You do have quite a distinct look but you came to mind first as I was looking at the stuff.  Love the garland by the way.  Its super cool!

Yay I can finally post pictures of something I've made this month! (I got my swap packages sent out so pictures of those items should be forthcoming soon!) - I'm back on track with my TM goals, and I made two bags this month to make up for all my slacking through the fall. One is a regular big sized bag, but the other is a mini. I wanted to play with sizing, and also alternative handles/straps. Though I'll definitely keep the braided scrappy strap as my mainstay I think. But its just so time consuming to put together! 









And a side-by-side size comparison. I'm in the process of making a few more mini bags Harry Potter themed
