Wow, that's a LOT!  Shocked

I'm almost done with the Valentine cards on my list. I have to force myself to take a break from yarn crafts for a couple days. My guinea pig bit my thumb when I was cutting her nails the other day, and it's right where the hook/needle rests. Even with a band-aid over it, I kept re-opening it last night when I was crocheting.  Sad I miss my yarn already, and it's only been a day! Thus, the early papercrafting.  Smiley

Wow, that's a LOT!  Shocked

LOL yes it is but I have a craft show that I want to be ready for. I sell the soup socks (quilted fabric bowls) in pairs so that's 100 pairs. I have 30 of them done already.
I have 12 travel pillows done. As long as I assembly line them and take it step by step I'm good.

Soup Socks:
Day 1 I cut and quilt
Day 2 I sew the darts
Day 3-5or 6 sew together
Day 7-8or9 turn right side out and top stitch

Pillows:
Day 1-2 cut and sew
Day 3-5 stuff
Day 6-7 sew shut

So that's the plan, hopefully it'll work out the way I want and I'm not planning on doing them in consecutive days but it may work out that way. I will be thrilled if I get 50 of the pillows done but I needed to set a goal that wasn't too easy to reach. Wink

I have this good friend from back in high school who is a drummer in a hardcore band, and is covered in tattoos...and he just informed me he wants me to teach him how to knit or crochet. I think I have decided to marry him  Cool

it always amazes me who wants to learn how to knit/crochet!  One of my son's friends keeps asking me to let him crochet when he comes over to play with my son.... and this kid is SEVEN Smiley  They already play with all my clay, they know which tools are for them in my tool box!
You can add that to your list of 50!

That is correct--you get a chance to win with each entry that fits the challenge...if you make 5 projects, you have 5 chances to win!  Each challenge works a bit differently to keep you guys on your toes...and, there are some surprises!

wow--the assembly line for the crafts sounds a lot like the sweat shop swaps here! good luck and thanks for sharing your technique...I also love the name "soup sock"!  They are bowl cozies! Cheesy

Here is the first project I did in 2012...I was drinking a coke and decided I needed a new rug mug (I have one in every room!)...

It amazes me too. Awesome when kids want to learn! It gives hope that creativity will live on through the generations.

I had to ask my friend if he was serious because I didn't expect it. He said he wants to make a men's slouchy hat and if he gets good he wants to make more to sell to hipster college students.  Smiley  I have kept in touch with him, but haven't seen him in years, so it will be nice to see him again!

alwaysinmyroom - awesome mug rug! I am receiving my first mug rug in the OWS78 swap from babalina58. I am excited! I can sense an addiction coming on.
