alwaysinmyroom - I think I am indeed calling that a project. I think the biggest project though would be convincing him to marry me  Tongue

Lillianpearl - Haha! I know right? I almost fainted when he asked me.

yofi - when I was in college my roommate knitted a hat from that pattern!

Missing Willow, I love your house!  I've been wanting to make one for my daughter but don't even know where to begin.  I imagine dedicating myself to an ongoing project would somehow be character building and I like the idea of stock-piling every little tidbit I come across.

Yep, it's the Lion Brand Quick Cabled Hat.  (free pattern, but you have to register at the site.)

I really like it; I might scale one up for me while I'm at it.  I think it would be really cute in a bulky cream-colored yarn.

I love how there is a bit in the back to cover the neck...what a wonderful pattern...hmmm...it would make a great big person hat, too...just saying... Cheesy

don't worry dewshinesdopp--we all get a bit overwhelmed by the lists and adding to our lists and reading everyone's list and PHEW..... but then, it all kicks in and the board explodes with projects!!  January is sort of the kick start...summer is a tiny bit slow while we all get out beauty tans...then it kicks in again before school starts...then the holiday madness... believe me, you will get a lot more done before you know it! Cheesy

hint: work on a project, visit for a bit, work on project...and, try to have at least one day with no computer! Cheesy

Shocked  Shocked  Shocked I can't believe you said that!!!*&%!!!

I agree though. I can't knit and read. actually I can't really craft and read at all.
What is much better, is to queue up a few of my favourite programes and half watch and listen to them whilst I knit.

The tiny house is so cute. It's all the little added bits that really make it.

Makes a fab adult hat. Made mine with Wendy Fusion yarn 50% wool. Really soft, but I think it would have been better with slightly smaller kneedles. Just checked my Rav acc. and I finished the hat on the 2nd Jan last year  Grin Rav link

I can already see this is going to be a hard thread to keep updated with. I'm offline for less than a day and I'm sifting through tons of pages already! Also, now I feel really behind because everyone has done so much wonderful work already! I haven't been home yet this year, so I haven't had any opportunity to craft!
