I would love to try hairpin lace...is it the same as broomstick lace? 

Broomstick lace is worked ona broomstick or large knitting needle.  Link to YouTube video here.

I'm not getting old I'm levelling up. Brilliant! I'm always in need of ideas for DH. Is it just an idea atm or has one been made? I need to decide how to do it. Since there's a few planning to make this great idea, how is everyone doing it? Stencil, embroidery, xstitch? I have done a WoW xstitch shirt before, but am curious to try freezer paper stencilling.

I am currently in the process of doing the freezer paper stencil but I would love to see it embroidered or even cross stitched. Oh the possibilites!

I know that you get a crocheted broomstick lace, but this is probably different.

I've signed up to be a swap angel for Pioneer9. For this I'm doing a new to me craft and one that I learnt through swapping. I started the new craft tonight and I'm super excited about it.

I' m going to complete my Moon Socks tonight.  Pics soon.
