I actually did a project today! It's the basic knitted dishcloth that is called "Grandmother's Favorite". This is my first one, and there are a couple of errors on the decrease side. But, hey, it's a dishcloth, so I won't worry about it. I don't see my kids whining "Mommmmmmm, you should have done a yarnooooover!" when I ask them to do the dishes.  

There is an elderly friend of the family that has been making these dishcloths for all of us for many years. Due to poor health and failing eyesight, she had to stop a few years back. All of our dishcloths are getting worn out, and I thought  I would try to learn it and make new ones for next Christmas. I think she might have used a larger needle than I did, so next time I will go up to size nine and see how it looks.

And finished my Kindle cover. I actually started this on Friday..... so TECHNICALLY it's a WIP from 2011, I guess. Anyhoo, it's done now!
