Welcome to the 50 Projects 2012 thread!  This is a craftalong that encourages you to try new crafts, hone and expand your current skills, get great ideas, make gifts for family, friends and yourself...get organized and focused...

You can handle your list in any way that will help you stay on track and record your progress...your list can be changed anytime...or you can just add to your list when you get done...cross stuff off...whatever works!

50 is just a random goal...some people will have far less, others far more...there is no score-keeping...you are doing this for yourself and sharing what you want with your fellow craftsters!

We encourage comments, lots of pics, and positive cheering on...we still have to follow craftster rules, so please stay on the topic of crafting as much as you can, but please do not forget that we are a social community so be respectful and kind to each other in bad and good times!  Most of all, have FUN!!!

Simple Challenge!

Category 1:
There will be a prize drawn from anyone still active in this craftalong that has 1-49 projects done.  You must post a project by January 7 to be eligible.

Category 2:
There will be a prize drawn from anyone still active in this craftalong that has 50 projects done.  Again, you must post by January 7 to be eligible.  Anyone eligible in this category will automatically be eligible for category 1.

Category 3:
Same as above, only 51-99 projects done.

Category 4:
Same as above, only 100 or more projects done.

So, the more projects you have done, the more chances you have to win!

I am going to require that you PM me with how many projects you have done.  That will save me bunches of time.




August Challenge!

Let's regroup!  Please post a mini-list of no more than 5 items that you want to complete in August.  If you have a few WIPS, post those first!  You will get an extra chance for completing a WIP!

Of course, you can make a lot more things, but everyone who reaches his/her goal on the mini list will be entered for the August challenge!

One extra rule:  You cannot change your list once you post it, so make sure you really are going to make those 5 items.  Please post your list no later than August 8--one week.  Of course, you can be making your items starting NOW!

Great lists!  Remember that you can do your list however you want...whatever works for YOU!  I love looking at lists but I confess, I then add so much more to my own list!

You can edit and delete and change your list all you want...I am again going to add thumbnails of pics as I complete each item since I like to print it out and save it on a CD...it does give a sense of accomplishment when I feel like I have been doing "nothing"..ha ha
