Late to the party but I'm back none the less. Lets see, mini lists for 2011 seemed to work well for me, but I didn't so so bad 2 years ago either. I guess I'll fly by the seat of my pants!  Happy new year to my craft along pals.

January 2012: (Just realized how many WIP's I have hanging over my head. These are priority.)

• Finish all WIPs. Dog sweaters, quilts, scarves, pillows, afghan, laptop sleeves, mosiacs.
• Sew more purses (seeing how mine is filled to the brim and falling apart) for my self and friends.
• Crochet another pair of fingerless gloves (but long ones this time) and scarf/hat set. I lost my old set.
• Start beefing up my bead stash and expand my jewelery craft. I wanna fire my own beads badly.
• Experiment with more altered clothing. This is a fun and cheap way to keep me entertained

recycled/upcycled paper flowers made with the wrapping paper from my presents.


i used this tutorial http://howaboutorange.blogspot.com/2010/10/how-to-make-recycled-paper-flowers.html and cut the templates out of some card so i could just cut around them with a craft knife, easy-peasy

Those flowers are awesome!  I love them!  I have a butt-load of scrapbook paper I could make those with.  

Here are two of my WIPs!!

I'm falling in love with this scarf!  Its wonderful!  It takes me about 10 minutes to get through each color but its soooo pretty!  I think I'm going to make another one after this to sell in my Etsy store.  

OK - so this scarf has become mine and I'm working on another scrap scarf for my co-worker.    I know this is a huge surprise!  lol



WARNING!  Do not take pictures of your crafts with family around!!!  They make your craft pose with the stuffed bear named Piedmont.    lol  And I know this scarf kind of screams Harry Potter....  but those are our school colors and one of the people I'm making this for, wanted one exactly like the one I made for the White Elephant Gift Exchange so....  there ya go.
