Nooo, your menu planner is incredible! I have the very same problem when cooking for my fiancé. Your projects are always so amazing. Thanks for the idea!:-D

And I'm happy to report that I can cross one of my projects off my list! I spent 3 days making cloth napkins, and let me tell you, you can make a lot of napkins in 3 days.......... Sadly, I don't have my camera cord to upload pics. They're not much to look at anyway, but something to cross off the list!:-D

Noooo - I love that menu planner.  In my house it would say "You'll eat it and like it, or cook if yourself!"

My Grandma had a menu planner on her fridge that said something like...

Tonight's Menu Options
- Take It
or
- Leave It

This isn't quite a project yet, its my practice for the real thing but I wanted to share as I'm over the moon with my progress  Roll Eyes

I'm going to knit myself a pair of socks this year if it's the last thing I do!
I borrowed "Easy Knitted Socks" from the library and this is the pattern I chose to learn from.

It is knitted flat and then seamed up the back. I know that might sound like cheating to veteran sock knitters but that's OK, so long as I get a wearable pair of socks at the end I don't care  Grin

The lace pattern is wrong for the first 8 rows but I didn't bother to frog as its not going to be worn by anyone.

Just popping in to say I love those tentacle cookies!

I'm spending this month finishing up my book for the Sketch Book Project. I'll post some pics tomorrow of what I have so far, it's definitely going to count as a project!

I made a dress for my new doll so it won't have to be bald and naked. (Wig is on the way.)

Ah, I just noticed that her eyes are uneven. Gotta fix that.
I know a lot of people think these dolls are creepy, but the dress is cute. It's made of 2 charm squares. She's super little.

 I Love the matchboxes!
And, Kookie; I love your pink lace sock!
I've never knitted a pair of socks, but when my uncle's sweater is finished, there should be more than enough yarn left over for a pair. I don't think he'll like lace! I bought way more yarn than I needed just to be safe!
My progress report on that mammoth wool sweater; Both sleeves are finished, with 3" extra length, and one of the main panels is finally in the armhole area, at about 19" long. The pattern is over in the knitting "questions" thread.  Plus I made a cute little wool leaf, that I haven't posted yet. I think it needs some friends.
