Keeping up with this thread is a project in itself!  Cheesy  But I wanted to say I think the little owl ornament is adorable, the crown is stunning, the yarn beard is hilarious and I love the yarn bombing!  *whew*  Cheesy

I made this little purse for work:

using Martha Stewart cotton hemp yarn.

I'm not thrilled to death with how it turned out... the yarn is so stiff and not at all stretchy, and yet, the bag itself stretches all to hell.  A poor choice of stitches, I guess.  The double crochet stitch is one of my favourites, though, and I tend to judge a yarn by how it makes them. Cheesy

I'm going to let this one sit for a few days and then decide if I want to do anything to it to fix it.  Some sort of decorative chaining might stabilize it, but this is going to be attached to a board and displayed, so maybe it doesn't need it.

ha ha yeah--but you freakin recognized me Wink

I love yarn wreaths...they sure do add a lot of color and texture...the pic is very cute and on theme!

Mio--what if you line the bag?  I am afraid if you don't with those stitches your stuff will fall out...

I think lining it would fix a lot of the problems.  But it's going to be for display only and attached to a board, so I don't see any need to do that on this specific bag.
