oh and here is a pic of one of a set of six fabric placemats I made for a personal swap. Of course, as usual I forgot a pic before I closed the parcel, so when I get pics of the rest I will post.



The other items I made were three crochet snowflakes and a crochet hook roll.

I need to update my list again with the more recent projects I have completed. Still nowhere near 50 but at least I got things done. Next year should be more productive; at least I hope it will be!

How did people like the little boxes for the cookies? I find those to be so cool.

oh wow--last minute holiday goodies always amaze me...I burn out pretty quickly!  I managed to finish knitting the dread hat for my niece's hubby but I still have some knitting to finish up for late presents!

I made IOU notes for those and put them in a card with a piece of the yarn...that was the best I could do!

I love all the tea towels and mug rugs...and the big old gift sack!  Wow--lucky kids!

Mio--love your crochet blankets...they are so much fun and so colorful!

(I miss you, Mio! )

silvermoon--ha ha I love the tardis in the starry night!  My nephew's partner was so enchanted with my nearly finished Dr. Who scarf...he said I had to finish it so he could take a picture and post it for me...he is such a grown-up geek!

AIMR - you are so very much a tease!  I saw the new board for the 2013 lists but I can't post yet!!!        I've already started putting my list together.  *sigh*  I will keep looking for this list to become active. 

As far as crafting, I'm almost done with a scrap scarf.  Working on another scrap scarf that's been in the works for quite a while.  Don't know if I'll get much more than that done before the new year.  But also working on mushrooms for Willy Wonka.  I have a whole mini-village of proto-shrooms right now.  And they're only half-ish done.  We'll see what I can get done.

I have some handspun alpaca that I would like to show you, but I need to figure out how to reduce the picture size first. I got a new camera at Christmas, and now my pictures are too big to upload. So I'm off to research, and then I will be back with some pictures! Then it'll be back to knitting for Christmas with the extended family this weekend.
