31. Beer bread: bake it and see if it is good. Make kits for Christmas gifts.

I finally got a few pictures of some of the things I have been working on. Sorry for the picture overload...

I have been making a ton of cards for some reason... I think I have over thirty made. They are primarily black and white with sparkly accents (which generally does not show up in the photos)










Awhile ago I commented that I had spilled coffee on some of my cards    I had put too much time into them to just throw them away. So, I tried to "antique" them by painting them all over with coffee and then used coffee grounds on them and a little bit of brown ink on the corners. These were three of the 5 that got coffee on them. I wish they were still white, but they turned out okay.



Here are a couple pieces of jewelry that I have been working on. This first one is well over a year in progress    I made the clay portion forever ago, made the paper bead and added the watch parts (which are not very noticeable in the picture) and resin a few months ago, and finally put all the chains etc on a couple of weeks back. Phew.


While this one is simple, I like how it turned out. The red beads are these gorgeous deep red (they look much brighter in this picture than they really are)


I made this necklace / earrings before summer as a summer set - unfortunately I caught it on something when wearing it and had to repair it. This made me realize I had never taken a picture of it...


I have a few more pendant / necklaces that I am working on. With luck I will get them done in the next few weeks.

Your cards are fabulous!  The circles, the tiny houses and the thank you flowers are my favorite!  Wow!  Who wouldn't want to get one of those!

I was just looking at that, but I feel weird putting my hand up for "free stuff" when I don't craft in turn for my partner. Especially hand crafted goodies. Promotional things from big business I have no problems mooching

Your partner really isn't getting something for nothing.  You are getting something (maybe) and they are getting positive feedback so that they can swap again and get partners again!  You are giving them a willing partner and the ability to swap again!  I would most certainly say that is something!  Though you could always ask for their address and send them a small thank you present, too!

I totally threw in my list!  ^_^  I mean, why not!

I'm with jilly on this.  It's a chance for folks who, for what ever reason (and some times they are very serious reasons), messed up on a swap.  A recent swap I ran we had 1 flaker and I got 3 personal PMs to angel before I had even posted that I needed one, so I know there are lots of folks desperate for an angel opportunity.  I think it's cool the Mods That Be are running this so we can help some of these folks get back on the crafty wagon.  I'm thinking of it as crafty karma.  Besides, I consider myself an over crafting spoiler, so it all evens out in the end.  If it feels odd, then one could always make some art and abounded it in a public place (some times called craft bombing) to pass it on, or pay it forward if you like that term better
