love the pattern for the scarf in that charity winter set!

The TM patches are always fab sheep blue. Do you make a plan or just do a patch in the theme as you find inspiration and put them together later?

Does anybody have suggestions for super-fine double plied wool yarn? All I can think of is embroidery floss. I'm so great at spinning the super fine stuff. Anyhow... this weekend I spun via drop spindle about 40 yards of lace-weight? wool yarn. Since it's so fine and a dark chocolate brown wool, I don't think I can get a decent pic, so I'm not even trying. My best estimate right now is 40 wpi, but I still need to set it before I can really test it.

Crafting has slowed right down for me since I no longer have a craft room but I do have some things to share from a personal swap I did with Abbeeroad  Smiley
We were partners in the Prayer Flag swap and these were extraa although poor Abbie had to wait a while to receive hers  Embarrassed

I made her two TM patches and a Spirit doll (just can't stop making dolls!) the doll is an enlarge pin/brooch pattern I came across in my cyber wanderings,I just made her bigger and added a hanging loop instead of a pin   Wink a 12" brooch would be a bit much I think *lol*

The patches say "live by the sun" and "love by the moon".

This is part of the fabric for the doll, I coloured plain white polycotton with my oil pastels by rubbing them over a felt coaster for the texture/pattern  Grin I love this technique, I keep finding interesting textures to use for future projects  Grin

Kookaloo Star: That's cool! I am not into dolls at all myself, but the colors are gorgeous, and it looks like she's dancing. And do your oil pastels stain the fabric permanently, or do they smear or wash off? I'm just curious if it's something you can make permanent for washable fabrics.

I don't know about washable things Eclectic Dreamer, I heat set the fabric by ironing over another piece of fabric then I sealed the whole thing once it was stuffed and sewn. I named her "dance like nobody is watching" so I'm really pleased that you think she looks like she is dancing  Grin

I love the projects everyone is working on.  Some really cool stuff.

Here is a recent patch...  Let's see who is willing to admit they know the reference.

And a new one for Halloween.

I love your patches  waggonswest!  I didn't get the reference so I googled it.  Smiley
Love the little candy corns.  I can't believe that Halloween is just around the corner.  Reminds me that Lana and I need to get cracking on her steampunk outfit.  We're going to try to make the rocket boosters out of 2L bottles, a ray gun, and some sort of aviator outfit...got the googles and hat already.  Smiley
