Wow!  What a flurry of fabulousness!!  You all have been busy!!

The jellies were a hit with Lana's teachers.  Next year we are going to be serious pickers during berry season.  I would love to give away raspberry and blackberry jellies. Smiley

I just updated  my list. I have been actively lurking, but not posting. Maybe the new picture posting option will motivate me to post pictures.

Right now I'm working on my brothers wedding quilt. And I also got some purple and gold yarn to knit my husband a vikings hat.

Looking for Mccalls 6337 sewing pattern, if you have a copy you'd be willing to share/give/sell please let me know.  The bag costs $60 and I think perhaps I could make it cheaper/

YAY!!!!

This weekend, I was busy making cupcakes and other fun prep for a baby shower!  Here are the cupcakes I made!

These are extreme chocolate with a fudge butter cream frosting.  I also made (but didn't take pictures of) white cake cupcakes with a whipped cream cheese frosting.  I also made blue and green dino picks out of color white chocolate to go ontop of each!

(I made a tutorial for the picks here:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=414082.0)

I also got some christmas crafting done!  I made some seashell candles!  I think I ended up making near 20 of 'em.

I really like the seashell candles, if you don't mind me asking, how did you make them?

First I cleaned and dried my shells.  I chose ones that didn't tilt down too much, so that I could get in as much wax as possible.  I bought wicks and wick ends from Hobby Lobby.  I cut them and set them in.  My mom gave me some wax and some colored wax for my birthday.  I cut up some of it into cubes and put it into an old glass jar.  I put some water to boiling and then down to med-low and put the glass jar in there to melt.  When it was all melted, I put in a few drops of scent.

I then poured the melted wax into the shells and let it set.  I put a little bit more in to fill in the dips the wax made when it set up.  They are really easy and quick to make!  I partially burned one, and I had it lit for an hour.  I think it would go for another hour, too.  Some of the larger ones probably for 3 hours.

Let me know if you have any more questions about 'em, Miss Barbara!
