I love candles!  I have these humongous scallop shells that are suppose to be used for appetizers...right...I think I might just have to turn them into candles...do they get hot on the bottom?  I might need to figure out some way to put them on top of something..

They do get hot.  Do you have any of those glass cabochons, like they sell in the floral dept?  Those would make a great base.  Aren't those coquil st jacques (sp?) shells or something?

I love that TM patch tree art!

Abbeeroad...love the dress!  Is it an infinity dress?  And, what a nice display of wall art!  The hanger is perfect for your lovely tree!

Yep, it is an infinity dress. Super easy and fun to make! I made it out of a jersey knit sheet that I dyed actually. Smiley

yes, indeed, missingwillow!  That is exactly what I used the shells for way back when we were "fancy" Grin !  I have six of them gathering dust in a drawer.

Abberoad, I love that dress. And you dyed the fabric, too?  Very cool.
Seashell candles are great!

smeddley: I love that sun with moon in it's heart picture Smiley

No pics... my jam isn't nearly as pretty (or as photogenic) as that which others have made... but I just made 7 jars (8 oz jars) of huckleberry jam. And a huckleberry pie. Neither of these were planned, but I needed freezer space, so used up the rest of my berries from last year.

Been making a few more yip yip aliens and a little totoro. The shop I have my stuff in now is a much better location, and I'm having to make weekly restocking trips on the train! Great to get my goodies out there though! (The franchise near me closed down two weeks after I put my stuff there, so the owner of the flagship store offered to let me see out my prize three months there)

I experimented with novelty yarns for the yip yips. They look better in person, but not by much. Will be sticking with plain acrylic from now on.

The 7th Doctor carried an umbella with a red question mark handle...I also think there were lapel pins in red that were question marks.

aww--love the Totoro!
