Ah-ha! Thanks always! And K-Starr - at least I know the confusion isn't isolated to the US! Or since always knew, NJ!

Silvermoon--we have our own quirky sayings that are tough to keep up with!  I have to consult the Urban Dictionary many times with all of these young people speaking "american"--ha ha  I am sure.  I am sure I have set off giggles more than once in this forum...

Phizzychick keeps us mods informed of British terms...I have to remember not to ever say "f*nny"... Cheesy

Kookla--I think a FIGJAM t-shirt would be awesome...so many people would be clueless but you can smile knowing what it means! Cheesy

I LOVE the YipYip Monster!!  Amazing!  And fig jam makes me giggle too.  I had no idea what that meant either but I love it!

So - with my cast I was able to knit about 4 rows last night before my wrist got very tired.  I haven't tried crocheting yet.  Maybe this weekend I'll give it a whirl.

Glad to see you are taking one for the team, Ffrogg526! Cheesy

You are such a trooper to even try crafting! Maybe each row should count as a project...glad you are healing and feeling better!

I have been MIA from this site recently - sorry! I had hernia surgery, passed my dissertation proposal, have a sick husband (going to a cardiologist soon to see what is up), my eldest daughter is packing up to move away to college, my youngest is starting both 11th grade and the local community college, I am working on three different projects at work, and I am extremely broke. I ended up so stressed out that I pulled back from everything and everyone, but I am trying to pull myself back into the land of the active and positive! I have started working on a couple of craft projects trying to get myself into the swing of things - I hope to have some pictures sometime soon...

Lots of lovely projects done here! Silvermoon - love the yip yips! And congratulations mellybelly81!

Wow, it sounds like you really have a lot on your plate right now. Hope things get a little less hectic soon. Smiley

I love the YipYip monster and the zombie hand cross stitch!

I have been mostly working on stuff for the Adventure Time swap while finally watching Dr. Who. I'm halfway through the 2nd season and loving it!  Grin

I've been trying a lot of new recipes lately too, though I haven't been taking pics. I made a Carb free lasagna, breakfast cookies, zucchini tots, broccoli and cheese bites and zucchini bread in plain, chocolate, pineapple and lemon.
