Hey, August isn't over yet! It's only 10am on the 31st here, so I know you guys still have time left to get something done. I still have two things left on my third list and I'm going to try and whip them out today. My guitar strap just needs the cat, and the Yip yip aliens shouldn't take too long. I think I shall do a September mini list too - I always thought mini lists were a waste of time, since I had a big list, but I work to the list much better with a small one, mostly because it's all things I know need to be done this month, where my big lists is clutterd with "whenever" things in between the high priority things.

August:
Chroma scarf - WIP
purple fingerless gloves for me - WIP
baby hat for charity
nyan cat bookmark
rock necklace
Divine hat in psychedelic
Bowl of petunias amigurumi
Dalek ami
(done x3!)
Sesame Street yip yip alien amis
Nyan Cat guitar strap

September
Divine hat in Chroma for charity raffle
Purple fuzzy scarf/cowl/hat/something for niece's birthday (have a skein of yarn but no ideas/pattern yet)
Finish "Suprise swap" item (WIP)
Bunch of mini things for the Covert Art Abandoners Swap
Daleks for Miss Six and Master Eight

And I just wanted to add I love sarahj2001's hat (- second the request for pattern name) and that cosy looking cowl always!

I finished my list as well! Most of these were done a few days ago (or were swappy), but I just haven't shown you yet.

1. fix mom's necklace
2. wordy hoopla
3. finish Color Affection shawl - WIP
4. welted fingerless gloves
5. finish crazy zauberball socks - WIP

I finally fixed my mom's necklace that she broke months ago. I think the fact that her birthday's tomorrow was pretty good motivation to finally do it.

My wordy hoopla was received, so I can show you!

Welted fingerless gloves - first pair of the six I'm planning for Christmas presents!

Finally, my socks. These just needed about 4 more inches, but they sat on my dresser for a month (July) instead of being finished. Thanks for the motivational challenge, always! (I promise they aren't crooked, the heels are making them look funky)

I think I shall do a September mini list too - I always thought mini lists were a waste of time, since I had a big list, but I work to the list much better with a small one, mostly because it's all things I know need to be done this month, where my big lists is clutterd with "whenever" things in between the high priority things.

I agree! It definitely got my butt into gear, especially with the WIP part. I'm going to do a September list as well, and put at least one WIP on it!

1. "Treads" gloves for sister - WIP
2. Fall socks - WIP
3. Hogwarts swap - house
4. Hogwarts swap - shop
5. Hogwarts swap - class
6. Welted fingerless #2
7. Welted fingerless #3

The hat pattern is Koolhaas.  I ripped it out so many times...I just was too distracted talking to pay attention to the pattern!

indigo_roses - Awesome HP Hoop!!

I made a jewelry set for the three tiny things hippie swap:

I have a wedding to go to Sept 15th, so here's my go at a mini-list to get ready!

1. Infinity dress
2. Father-son vests
3. TM patch tree wall art

I really only have two weeks to get these done. Think I can pull it off? Ah, the comforting pressure of a looming deadline!!!

okay I am gonna try for a list here:

1. Jack Skellington discharge paste tee
2. Halloween table runner (WIP)
3. glitter skull(s)
4. test run on glass hurricane halloween decor
5. attempt a patriots logo discharge paste tee

We'll see how that all goes Smiley

YAY!! I did it! Granted the tee wasn't a pat's tee, but I made a spectacular (to me!) nautical themed one for Averia for the OWS swap! I feel like I accomplished stuff, craft wise, this month! That runner was a WIP since LAST HALLOWEEN! eek! But My mom loved it, and that's all that matters Smiley

Some pictures!
the glitter skull! (I made one in purple, which I ended up letting my nephew keep - we made the silver one together and the boy skinny pirate head needed the girl skinny pirate head to hang out Smiley gotta love a 3 year old!)

The table runner

I don't have a pic of the jack shirt and will post the rest when I actually take the pic of the hurricane and when the other tee arrives!

yay!
