Jillybeans ~ The cherry amaretto jam sounds amazing, any chance you would share the recipe? I want to try my hand at canning and I'm looking for some good recipes to try.

I haven't tried it out yet, but I plan too in the near future.  So I will all let you know how it turns out.  I'm also thinking about getting some fresh cherries and canning them whole and hot packing them with some amaretto to put on top of desserts and just to nibble on.  My frozen ones just won't work for packing them whole.  They get all mushy after I defrost 'em.

Thank you for the recipe!  I've been wanting to find a good recipe for pickles to do this year.  I'm not a fan of pickles myself, but my husband loves 'em!

I think I may give it a try too!  I've never done pickles before, but we go through the sandwich ones like crazy here!!!

I want, so desperately to come up with an August list, but I am so doped up on pain meds, I can't craft a thing! I have tonsilitis (though now i am told it looks like pharyngitis, but could be mono) for the third time since beginning of July, and function is limited. I will live vicariously through this board and all your amazingness until I am well enough to blunder through my projects again

Always - yay for the new challenge, I wonder what I can come up with for this month. I'm sure my nieces would like the the necklaces, they are my biggest fans when it comes to beads, always wanting to see what's in my project box.
Kookaloo - thank you, I made her myself  Great use for a pair of jeans, and a good idea to add a place for a water bottle. My husband also carries around a bunch of sticks, which martial art is he learning?

cursive_queen - I love the colors of the first quilt
Smeddley - that's a lot of dice bags, you should make a bag of bags of dice to hold them all, or one big die, then you'll have a die of bags of dice (I think it's past my bedtime). The pony and crown are awesome, and I think it's great to have pony themed birthday and stuff, no matter how old you are. I also love the bird art you posted, you should totally count it.
redstar - just focus on getting better, and take a spoon-full of this thread on an ongoing basis.

I think I'll go to sleep now, maybe I'll dream up my list
