I feel like I hardly got anything done craft-wise in June and July
I finished up a cross-stitch, but sadly didn't get to give it to Wil Wheaton at comic con.  Sad

I made one star quilt from scratch for my kiddo's friend for her b-day and I got my other star quilt back from my sister in law who quilted it on her machine.  Sorry for the not-great pic.  I'll try to do a better one after it's gone through the wash - I just wanted to post it before I forgot about it

August Mini list
1. embroidery hoop for swap
2. finish knotwork scarf
3. finish tshirt quilt top
4. finish monster high quilt
5. finish cleaning craft room!

I should have waited to post my list because I just volunteered to make two items for a duck's unlimited banquet.  Undecided   For my regular banquet we always do an Iowa hawkeye's item and an Iowa State Cyclones item at my banquet. One year we did ceramic dog bowls, kids picnic tables, corn hole game. So I thought about fleece tie blankets because they're easy. Any other suggestions for somthing relatively simple to do. This event is group of men. I'm used to doing a banquet with a lot of women and I make that my focus. Any ideas?

Kookaloo_Starr, those dolls are awesome!  I've always wanted to make dolls, but I"m not good with fiddly sewing.

I'm so sorry I haven't been commenting as much as I should be, you all deserve so many "oooohs" and "aaaahhhs".

The last two month's of projects:

41, 42, and 43 - Dice bags - they're triangular, a pattern I got out of a book called the Trillian Bag.

Another picture of the tiny one for scale:

44 - My Little Two Hearts.  A made-over MLP for a friend.  Long story short, "Two Hearts" is a running joke with her and her husband, and she once told me that when she was 10, she wanted a pony more than anything (as many little girls do).  She was convinced, despite the fact that her mom was never there, that she'd get one.  So we gave her the pony-licious birthday she never had.  Everyone got her pony-themed things.

45 - Pink Crown.  Also for said friend's birthday.

46 - Drop stitch (hip) scarf.  A friend made this pattern and uses it for a hip accent (bellydance).  I may dye this when we have our veil dying party.

47- Another dice bag, this one made out of felt.  Not all craft projects turn out great, and I'm not thrilled with this one.

48 - Another dice bag!

49- Ruffle Butt Cover, made for a friend's bellydance performance.  It was really just sewing a ribbon on the top, but the stretch of the fabric meant that was done by hand.  Wheee!

50 - Tassel belt, made for a friend.  It looks a lot better in person, really!  But the person it was made for was way smaller than me, so I couldn't exactly model it.  :/

And not being counted, but an art project I'm actually proud of (for once, unlike the other 20 or so I've done... my friend is making me follow along with an art project thing):

(crappy cell phone camera pic, and it was before I erased the pencil lines - I learned the hard way that ink does take a little while to dry! - so it's not a stark as it is in person, but still)

That blue ruffle hip scarf is gorgeous and I'm sure the pink tiara was a huge hit!

oh---another fez project!  I really like the hoopla...and your huge quilt is also a huge project finished!

I love the blue hip scarf and the tassel belt!

Also, the line drawing is lovely...I love simple drawings that have impact!

Loving that people are jumping into the challenge!

I got motivated to do three more rows of my Dr. Who scarf...seriously, I only have 5 more rows to go now but those last few just aren't calling me! Cheesy  I might do a big push this weekend! Cheesy ha ha I need maybe 10 minutes!

I can't wait to see the Harry Potter advent calender!

Jillybeans ~ The cherry amaretto jam sounds amazing, any chance you would share the recipe? I want to try my hand at canning and I'm looking for some good recipes to try.

I like the mini list challenge idea quite a bit, I need to actually make some things that are on my list.  Roll Eyes  Heading to the beach now, but I'll be back later to post my own mini list!

I posted my dill pickle recipe this morning.  It's not on my list of 50 things, but hopefully takes some of the mystery out of canning.  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=412273.0
