I know I say it all the time, but it's true, so much great stuff!

I'm a fan of HP (well I like to watch the movies) but seeing all this cool HP stuff makes me want to be a HP nerd! I will have to read the books so I can legitimately make them! (after I finish reading game of thrones and start being a GoT nerd!)

I love the sock monkeys. I really should remember to look for long socks next time I'm shopping, I'm sure DS would love one.

I have another knit hat to post (I'm turning into quite the knitter!) but I'm having problems uploading photos to craftster so once I get that sorted I will post a picture. I'm also working on a sock. It's a bit of a cheat sock as it's just one long piece using different sized needles which is then sewn up. At least i think it's a cheat sock. That's not how other socks are knit, right?

Crafting 'cause I can't help myself

I will be pretty AWOL over the next month or so, my studio is an infamous mess that I have been trying to fix for a year and now we are moving and I am determined that I get it and the whole house organized and well packed so that it can be set up properly when we get to the new place and i dont end up with a disaster again.
it doesn't help that the high temps mean that most of my art supply boxes can't go outside to the garage and that they are having to go in our dining room, which I am still partly using as a pantry and a cat feeding station.  Alex works full time and he is trying to help but there is not a lot he can do at this time, when it comes to moving the big stuff that will all pretty much be on him (and a few friends) but the actual packing is something I need to do.
With my fatigue and some depression I am dealing with I am glad I gave myself 7 weeks to pack because with 4 more to go I am already scared I wont get it done.
Until we move I wont be able to do many crafts, I  need to put the energy towards getting stuff done sadly and I can lose myself in a craft for days.

Wow, Sheep, I can't get through a single Teesha Moore project.  I bow to your mad skills!  Redoing our guest bath is on my list of 50 things for this year.  We took the plunge and bought all the 'stuff' yesterday to do it.  Here's hoping it doesn't take forever!

That is a huge project! Cheesy

Sheepblue--I am with MissingWillow--I just can't seem to get through one TM project!  You have done so many wonderful HP themed ones...and each one is gorgeous and unique!

Can't wait to see your knitting, mellybelly!  I just started another knitting project...

Here are some things I have finished:

I received some beautiful possum yarn from Jemimah and finally decided to make myself a new hat for this winter...it is so soft!  I had crocheted these flowers to make earrings, but they were too big so I attached them to my hat.

I also crochet this scarf from Interweave magazine...I love how it turned out and will look for yarn to make another one in greens...

The scarf is made of attached half circles--my crochet buddy helped me figure out the pattern--it was the first time I successful made a scarf with just a chart!

Close up of the motifs:

Finally, I finished my summer purse that I started in February! Cheesy
It is made from some drapery fabric that I was given maybe  5 years ago...the funny thing is that I am very afraid of monkeys!

Love the Harry Potter bags sheepBlue! I'm thinging you should get into the Game of Thrones books (if you aren't already) because I'd love to see your take on a TM bag from that!

Love that lacy scarf Always!

QNM - I love the show, and have been meaning to read the books. I have thought of doing a bag just based off show references though  Wink Maybe I'll have to add it to my to-do list  Grin

That hat is so pretty, always!  I'm so envious of people's knitting and crocheting skills.  Someday I will tackle that craft.  SOMEDAY!

As for me, I've been up to my ears in ATCs in June/July.  Not only did I organize June's ATC Swap, I also made 25 claims!  Well, I will spare you all and not post the ATCs here, but I will give you a link to go and look at them, if you so choose!  ^_^

I will however share the set of 4 ATCs that I made for gozer for a personal swap!

Yay yay ATCs!

♥ the ATCs! The Jawas and Wicket are my favourite characters!

(Very nearly dropped $30 on a talking Jawa plushie that had light up eyes the other day, but DP was footing the bill, so I restrained myself.)
