Jilly--the dress up box is a great idea!  makes kids use their imagination...very fun!

bookstorebabe--ha ha we must be on the same page...I painted a pair of shoes, too!  

I have sort of recovered from my terrible work schedule...I am going to a mod meet up this week so I will be out of touch for a bit...when I get back, I will post loads of pictures!

Oooo how fun, always!  I hope you have an awesome time!!!  I'm super excited for my first meetup in Seattle at the beginning of August!  I'm so giddy with excitement!

In other news, my partner luckdragon has received the badges I sent her, so here they are!


I made her a craftster's scout merit badge for her amazing IYP organizing skills!  She's on her second round of an organizer for the swap!  Go go luckdragon!!  And I made her a Dr. Horrible patch so she can proudly show off her nerdy love!

I'll be posting this on the crochet board as well but this is definetly one of the biggest projects on my 50 projects list for 2012.  And its done!  4 months early!  GO ME! 

My best friend is getting married in October.  While we were in college I made him an afghan and his fiance loves it as much as he does.  So when they told me they'd set a date and were offically getting married I asked them want they wanted.  Another afghan in sunset colors (She got to pick colors).  So this is what I came up with.

Forgive the shadow in the middle of the afghan.
