Project #1.   100% reorganized Craft Room and Supplies (progress 30-35%)

My on-going struggle with my studio of disastrous doomy organizational fail
http://artinmybag.wordpress.com/2012/01/05/so-much-still-to-do-in-organizing-my-studio/
Though I can now say I am at about 30-35% done with the monumental task of rearranging a good couple or three hundred of pounds of art/craft supplies while on a deadline.

(Hi my name is T'Rina and I am a supply hoarder...oh yeah and an upcycler to make it worse)

My poor husband who is a strong guy is getting tried of hauling around the over stacked bins so I now realize that having sorted my art paper into one BIG bin was a bad bad idea and to save my husband  hernia I need to start sorting it by type soon since the 66qt sterlite container is overflowing and there is more paper to get sorted out of random bins.

As you are my witness, I swear I will never get this disorganized again (cue sunset and music)

Sorry about the frogging, Ffrogg! I have lambswool scarf that does not lay right no matter what I do to it. It wants to curl up and look yucky. Blocking it did not help. Crocheting around it did not help. I love the color of the yarn. It's re-dyed sweater wool in shades of purple, and it's a nice aran weight that knits like a dream. I think that it will have to come apart and be something else. Maybe I'll break down and frog it this week. I used one of these to knit it : Bond Pocket Knitter.

I love the Scrabble coasters. Great idea!

ZombieLili--pretty ATC art and watercolor!

This is what I'm going to attempt today, unless something else shiny distracts me first! My first one will be Red Heart, but if I like the pattern, I'll make another out of bulky hand spun for when the snow flies. I'm glad we are not having an harsh winter here yet, but I think we are buying this nice weather on credit, and I want to keep my ears warm at payback time. Smiley

trinalocakary--that's hilarious! I do have the soundtrack in my head now. I have to organize too. Good luck.  Cheesy

Oooohhhh, I LOVE the lalaloopsy dolls!  I was so excited that Daysie was a girl cuz now I can buy girly toys!  Of course, she will probably be a tom boy now  Cheesy but I'll have fun while I can!

And everyones projects are awesome!  I have a scrabble type project on my list too, but mine is larger, so I gotta get my mom (shop teacher) to make the "tiles" for me then I can play with them.

I love the pink bunny painting.

I believe there's a crochet pattern you can purchase for a soft Lalaloopsy.  I think it was posted on craftster before.  It's enough to make me want to learn how to crochet!

I love love love the Sailor Moon Stationary and the Mario Stitch is fantastic. Great work on the gloves as well. I have yet to tackle gloves in my crocheting adventure (I never know how my projects are going to turn out O.o).

The pink bunny painting is fantastic.

Cute ATCs!!

trinalocakary, your goal is a good one. It will feel great to have it organized and I bet you'll find that you're even more inspired to create in the space. Plus, you'll probably find some awesome supplies you forgot about!!

Ffrogg, sorry you had to rip out a project but I have to say, what a great idea. Either finish the wip or frog it. I love that and I think I'm going to have to follow your lead. I have projects in my bins and baskets that have been sitting around for years. I should use the yarn for something else.

I did this at the end of last year - now just need to get organised enough to turn the yarn into something other then a piile of yarn!  Undecided

Ffrogg--I have frogged many projects that just never got used or did not turn out the way I thought...I look at it as a learning experience and it did keep my hands busy...I think you have to decide to finish a wip or give it up...life is too short to have unfinished business...finish or move on! Cheesy

I loved the striped smart phone cover, bambii8899---the colors are so soothing...the hat is cute, too (an in one of my fav colors!)

kksimone--what adorable stationary!  ha The Mario sampler is also very nice!

laughinglark--what fun mittens--I nearly snorted out coffee when I read that they had the right amount of thumbs (reminded me of when I made six fingered gloves...)...

dawnstrees--I am loving your wood projects...those coasters are so clever!  Did you see the cute scrabble pillow that jillybeans made?  I know she played around trying to make all the words go up and down!  And, she had to use proper names which is even harder! I bet your friend loves her coasters!

zombielili--your ATCs are really nice...love the bunny...are you in the January swap?  I would love to swap for one of your gorgeous watercolors...Cheesy

suereal--what a list!  I love that you are doing so many projects for your home...I think we are lucky as crafting people to personalize our homes with our own artistic touches!  I need to add more home things to my list (although I am surprising my hubs with new curtains and chair upholstery for his music studio!)

My list is growing  Grin
I've added some Drops Garn Studio patterns to my list. They maybe wishful thinking, but if I can scrape together the yarn I hope to get at least one made.
