Koreena- I think pottery was one of my favorite classes and yet I never got good on the wheel because I sometimes shake... slab building was the best.  I always saved broken pieces to use in the bottom of planters for drainage

I love the pottery ladies!  Its fantastic!

I'm still chugging away on the wedding afghan that's due to be finished in October.  I'll get some pictures posted this weekend!

I made a rain hat  Cheesy the brim needs tweaking but it's done.



and a belt with the leftovers from my dog lead/collar  Grin

and I dyed some cream wool with lemon-lime KoolAid

Thanks for all of the kind words everyone Cheesy  You just made my day!  I agree with all of you - pottery is a lot of fun!!  Going to take the summer off from it, but plan to go back in September.  Seems like a good cold weather hobby to me.

trinalocakary ~ Great idea about saving the broken pieces, thank you Smiley  I haven't thrown them out yet, guess I knew they'd be good for something!

Kookaloo_Starr ~ love that wool!  How does washing work with kool-aid dyed wool?  Do the colours stay or wash out?

Apparently you lose a little colour at first but it mostly stays, that's as much as I know as it's the first time I've done it. We don't have Kool Aid over here and the rest that I got gifted I used for my hair  Grin
