But they fit him, and he will leave one in a snowbank by accident soon enough, so the "galloping horse rule" was implemented.  

I  love the "galloping horse rule"! It is an awesome rule! I need to remember this rule much more often!

I finished another WIP. My friend is a fanatic scrabble player, so I wanted to make her some scrabble tile coasters. Unfortunately it is exceedingly difficult to make words that go both horizontal and vertical like you do in scrabble. I thought about just doing words across, but for some reason it felt like I was cheating. So, I decided to go with the Boggle school and did random letters so that they could actually play "find words" with the coasters! The scrabble tiles are glued on to cork coasters and then felt is glued to the bottom. I was only able to make 3 because I ran out of consonants! This was one of the fun gifts to give - she had a really tough year and she really loved them!

That is a tremendous idea. I was just thinking yesterday in Kmart I should make one. I was thinking out of fabric, but crochet is even easier!

Miss Six got one of the mini plastic ones from her aunt for Xmas, but I know she was hanging for one of the larger (more expensive) huggable ones.

I frogged a project!  My green bolero from last year that was supposed to go with the cute sleeveless dress got frogged.  It was a knitted piece and the pattern can be found here.  

I would measure it and it would be short so I'd add to it, lay it down and measure again and it was too long.....  So its been sitting around the house for several months now and as one of my 50 projects is to find all my WIPs and either frog and finish them....  I thought it was a good time to frog it.  Kind of sad though.  It took hours and hours of work and literally less than 30 minutes to frog the whole thing!    So now the yarn can go on to better projects!

I don't know if this counts as crafting...but I share anyway ^^;

A bunch of ATCs...The cat-set didn't turn out as I wanted it :/ The other two are from last year, that I still had to finish.



And a little water color painting that was very fun to do. Yay for pink bunnies!
