Smart!!  The "cool" thing to do when I was about 13 was use Koolaid to dye your hair, so it make sense that it would dye Easter eggs!

One year I will get around to dying eggs on Easter weekend rather than the week before or after.

I finished cleaning my craft room, I have a small basket of junk to sort out, but the room is clean, and now I can get back to getting things made for my trip.

Tomorrow
-teachers workshop
-sew blue hoody
-cut out black skirt
-Cut out white blouse
-Cut out jeans

I finally took some pictures.

A receiving blanket (that gave me all sorts of grief) and a matching taggie blanket for a friend who is having a baby in May.

A little bunny hat for my little baby who had better be born soon.  Cheesy

Thanks!  I am not able to throw out scraps...so I use them to make cards and other things...

Genius!

Jillybeans - I so have your Beatles patches pinned.  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!!!!

QNM - Your Kool-aid eggs look so cool.  I wanted to do some non-traditional dyeing this year, but my MIL bought the box kit before I could say "dye."

meleriffic - super cute bunny hat!!

QNM - those are some awesome eggs!  Did you use white crayon to put the designs on before you dyed them?

aliferg - not much has changed.  From time to time I have students that come in with Kool-aid hair.  Cheesy

As for my own crafting recently....  I worked on the wedding afghan for my best friend and we started cleaning out the craftroom!  Always a good idea!  Re-organized some yarn, found some projects that I kind of forgot about...  y'all know the drill!  Cheesy  Now, to finish a yarn project or 3 before starting a new one!

Yep, I'm guilty of that as well! Now I'm justifying starting new projects by saying this like, well, this isn't a yarn craft, it's a (insert other craft here)! So I currently have what feels like 5 bajillion WIPs.  Roll Eyes

I'm not working this weekend, so I have time to craft! My goals:
- at least 3 repeats on wedding afghan
- finish front of Britta Bear's pillow cover
- cut pieces for silentblair's pillow cover
- finish homework for sock class

Ffrogg526 ~ Yep, just plain old white crayon. I used to dye my hair with Kool-Aid back in the day, super colorful hair dye was not an option in my small town.  Tongue

What a pretty felt badge.

I made this dress for my daughter this afternoon. It was from one o McCalls easy patterns and actually was pretty easy. Best thing is daughter loves it.
