Well I finished all the girl's easter dresses, but they didn't want to wear them on Monday, so I put them away for now, maybe Mother's day, or a night we decide to go for dinner and they need a dressy outfit.

I finished my Mom's dress and just need to trim threads.
I finished my Nascar capri's
I'm almost done my red blouse - need to add the temporary decorations

Looking for Sophia the first fabric and Frozen fabric (preferably flannel, but would settle for cotton) and Phoomph.  I'm in Canada and the companies are that I could order from charge $20-$30 shipping, so if anybody can find some and wants to swap/sell, I would be eternally greatfull.

I made this cushion for HSG in the Cushion Cover Swap.  Had to snag her pic since I did not have a chance to take my own (I was angeling and had to make this quickly!).

I drew out the plan on graph paper, pieced it, quilted it with simple running stitches and embroidery.  The closure is a combo of a zipper and flap on the back.  This is a new style of quilting that I am doing all summer since I am trying to destash my yards of solid fabrics!

Always, I like that pillow! Great way to use your solid fabrics, it does look lovely.
fantasticmio, wow, that's a lot of work! I really like the shawl, and so many blankets! Hee, it's hypnotic to stare at that pattern. They look great, and what a nice thing to do.
Same for the hats and scarves for the schoolkids-I love that idea. Now when they're walking to the bus or out playing, they'll be cozy1
I missed a few days, and had pages to go through. I'll be mostly gone all weekend, and will have even more to catch up on. That's okay, I love this thread. Will do a massive post myself on of these days....

Everybody has been so busy and I've been such a slacker with crafting and commenting  Embarrassed

Always - the pillow is lovely  Smiley

Fantasticmio - you're must hardly ever put your hook down, I bet you can crochet in your sleep! Love the blankets  Grin

Cazz - FAB Cheshire Cat pillow  Smiley

and everyone else keep up the good work!

I taught my niece Rio to crochet yesterday. We had a nice afternoon visiting and she went home with three skeins of yarn, 3 crochet hooks and a (almost) square of crochet  Grin We struggled a bit at first as she's a lefty and I'm not but she picked it up in no time.

Apparently she's gone with friend to a theme park today and has taken her yarn and hook for the journey  Grin

This afternoon I made my dawg Nala a new lead. Hubby lost hers in the woods and we've been using an old belt attached to her harness which works but doesn't look nice. This does  Grin

Its red with pink trim in case you can't tell from the pic. Next up is a matching collar.

Use what talent you possess - the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except those that sang best

I feel ya, kookaloo!  I've been soooooo busy!  I just not finally got a chance to hop over here and thought I'd share with you what I made my two partners (Teachart and redstar13) in the IYP20 swap (both packages were made in March)!

Here is what I sent to redstar13:

Bookmarks, headbands, felted and regular soap, a yard of flannel fabric, flower hair clips (I think one of them didn't make it into the group photo), a bejeweled key brooch, a cowl, and a vintage key necklace.  Some of this finally have their own posts:

And for teachart:

A Beatles wall hanging, an extra Beatles patch, a bookmark, felted and regular soap, two freezer paper stenciled t-shirts, and some fabric to make TM patches.

The Beatles wall hanging has its own post: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=407021.0

I also made some brooches for my sister's birthday in March:

Their post is here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=407023.0

I've also been doing ATCs, like normal, but I don't have those posted yet.  ^_^  I'll have some more projects to share next week when I get all their pictures uploaded.  I've been away from here, but definitely non-stop with the crafting.  hehe

Everyone has been making awesome things lately. I've got a few things made, but I still haven't gotten pictures taken yet. I really need to stop being lazy and just do it.
